[WMSCOG] God And Eternal Life

Why was it necessary for God to come down to this earth in the form of human being? He could have simply stayed in heaven, worshiped and honored by all the heavenly beings, rather than being mocked and ridiculed on this earth without visible glory and might and power. But even though he knew he would suffer many things, he came down to this earth in the name of Christ Jesus 2000 years ago.

John 3: 16  16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The reason God came down to this earth was to give us eternal life. God has pity and compassion on the people of the earth who are living under the slavery of death. He wanted to give us eternal life. Then why did he come down to this earth in the human form? As the bible says, God is the only one who has eternal life.

1 Timothy 6:15  which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

To receive eternal life we must meet God, but nobody can go up to heaven alive to meet God and receive eternal life. Since we cannot do anything to have eternal life with our own method, it was necessary for God to come down to this earth among human beings as one of them to give them eternal life. Then couldn’t he come down in his full glory and power, rather than coming as man in the flesh? He could and he did in the time of Moses. He appeared with the glory of God among his chosen people, but this time his people shunned him and refused to get near him because they were afraid. That is why God set up Moses as a mediator to teach his people of the way of eternal life and gave them the old covenant. But people did not obey the covenant because they just saw Moses, a mere man like one of them and rebelled against him without thinking he was working for the Almighty God. Because of the disobedience many died in the desert and could not enter into the rest prepared for them in the land of Canaan.

That is why God decided to come down to this earth as man in the flesh just like one of them so that he could live among his people and teach them the way of eternal life. This time he wanted to teach his people not through a mediator, but he himself wanted to teach them. So instead of sending a man as mediator, he himself came as mediator in human form and gave his people the new covenant so that they can receive eternal life.

Hebrews 9:15  For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

Ahnsahnghong and eternal life through Passover
What is happening in this picture? This scene is called “The Last Supper,” but did you know that it was recorded as the Passover?
He came as mediator of the new covenant and gave us the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. That is why it was necessary for him to come down as man in the flesh. Christ is the true power and glory of God, who God prepared for the perfect salvation for all human beings so that they all can receive eternal life. Even though Christ is the last and ultimate fruition God planned for the salvation, when he appeared as man, people rejected him calling him a man, not God and they lost their chance for salvation.

According to the bible he will appear for the second time as man in the flesh. At that time only those who accept him can have eternal life. If it was possible for us to receive eternal life by our own plan, it would not have been necessary for God to come as man. Without his coming as man, nobody could be saved and that is why he comes as man. Now let us know him. Truly let us press on to know him so that we would not miss him when he appears.

Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heaven Mother Jerusalem came as man in the flesh for the salvation of the soul, eternal life. They are the last plan of God he prepared for us. Let us accept them and acknowledge them, and then they will give us eternal life in heaven.

Revelation 22:17   The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Thanks to Father and Mother for coming down to this sinful world to the ignorant and stiff-necked people to give us forgiveness and eternal life. Let all the peoples of the world accept you and give glory to you, saying “Hosanna, the Savior has come again!”
