    A huge emerald stone was found and it was so huge and rare and people named it “the Gift of God.” Even though it was appraised at $1.15 million, a dealer gave real appraisal by saying, “Really the sky is the limit.” There are people who will pay anything to get this biggest and rarest gem stone. Spiritually Jesus taught the same thing and he taught us that there is a true gift of God that we must seek and get even though we might have to sacrifice everything we have.

    Matthew 13:44  “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. 45“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

    Then what is the teasure or pearl which worth more than anything we have? What is the treasure which we should get even though we have to pay with everything we have? What is the gift of God?

    Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    The bible teaches us that the true gift of God we must seek is “eternal life.” That is why Jesus also taught, “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?” (Mt 16:26) The life for the soul, or the eternal life is the most important thing we must seek.

    And to give us this gift of God, he also let us know how to receive this gift of God, eternal life. He said, “Whoever eats my flesh and and drinks my blood has eternal life,” (Jn 6:54) and again he said, “This bread is my flesh and this cup of wine is my blood.” (Mt 26:26) He sacrificed even his own life to give us this precious gift of God, eternal life.

    But is there any who has wisdom to recognize the true value of the gift of God? We are acting like animals which have no wisdom trampling the precious gift of God down and denying the value of it. Even though once we might have rejected the gift of God out of our ignorance, but now we must have wisdom and understanding to know the spiritual things and its value.

    Christ Ahnsahnghong brought this precious truth of the Passover back to us, which was trampled down by the work of Satan in 325 AD and let us know the truth of the Passover. We should give thanks to God Elohm, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother Jerusalem for giving us this true gift of God, eternal life.

    [WMSCOG] How to Escape from Disasters?

    Luke 21:35  35For it (the great disaster) will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.

    The Day of Judgment for Sodom. Jesus compared the Day of Judgment to the day of the destruction of Sodom. How can we escape the disasters on that day?

    Jesus said all the disasters testified in the bible will happen to all the peoples of the world at its appointed time. There would be no exception. That is why many people try to prepare themselves with many things such as shelters, foods and all the survival materials they can think of to escape the disasters. But the bible says that there is no human solution for the disasters and whatever we prepare for ourselves will be useless.

    Amos 9:1  Not one will get away, none will escape.2Though they dig down to the depths of the grave,from there my hand will take them. Though they climb up to the heavens,from there I will bring them down.3Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel,there I will hunt them down and seize them.Though they hide from me at the bottom of the sea,there I will command the serpentto bite them.4Though they are driven into exile by their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them. I will fix my eyes upon them for evil and not for good.”

    There is nothing we can do in our own way to escape from the disasters.

    Zephaniah 1:18  Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the LORD’s wrath. In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed,for he will make a sudden end of all who live in the earth.”

    Then what is the way through which we can escape the disasters? If we cannot solve this problem with our own plan, then we must ask God to find the way. Then what is the way we must follow?

    1Peter 1:18  For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

    God teaches us that we can receive redemption or salvation through the blood of Christ. Through the blood of Christ promised in the Passover, we can receive the redemption from all the disasters.

    Matthew 26:26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” 27Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

    Through the wine of the Passover, he allowed us to take part in the blood of the Christ so that we can escape from all the disasters. Nowadays, we can here people preparing many things to protect themselves by building space stations, submarines, underground shelters, food, money. But all the plan we have made will not work and cannot save ourselves from the disasters. Only the redeemed through the precious blood of the Christ in the Passover can have salvation.

    Let us give thanks to Elohim God, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother Jerusalem, who gave us the truth of the Passover for our salvation.

  • [WMSCOG] Leave Your Simple Ways

    Sun-god worship introduced in Christianity. Do you know what you are worshiping?

    Proverbs 9:6  Leave your simple ways and you will live;
                              walk in the way of understanding.

    The way to life is in wisdom and understanding. But in this world people do not have wisdom and understanding. Even though they say they worship God, in reality they worship an idol. They do wrong things and do it again and again. About this Solomon said, “There is nothing new under the sun.” And also he said, “Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account.”

    God gave us everything in the bible to teach us as warnings and examples so that we might learn. But still people do not know and they do not have understanding. They are making the same mistakes over again. In the time of Hezekiah, people worshiped a bronze snake which was made in the time of Moses, but the bible teaches that it was called Nehushtan, which means “a piece of bronze.” They were worshiping a piece of bronze as if they made a bowl out of bronze and worshiping in front of it. In the time of Ezekiel people were worshiping cross made of wood as it was written: “Look at them putting the branch to their nose!” In those days, to worship Tammuz (sungod) they were worshiping cross (the initial of Tammuz). And God called the practice detestable.

    Are we any better now? We are also doing the same thing even inside God’s house. People are worshiping “merely a piece of bronze” and “merely a piece of tree.” If they have money they worship “merely a piece of gold” and if not, “merely a piece of silver or metal.” Can we say that we have understanding and wisdom to receive life? Only those who have wisdom can have life. How foolish it is in the eyes of God!!

    Isaiah 44:15  15It is man’s fuel for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships it; he makes an idol and bows down to it. 16Half of the wood he burns in the fire; over it he prepares his meal, he roasts his meat and eats his fill. He also warms himself and says, “Ah! I am warm; I see the fire.” 17From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships. He prays to it and says, “Save me; you are my god.” 18They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.

    Isn’t it foolish even in your eyes? But still people are doing the same, committing the same sin over again. Let us now leave our simple ways and make effort to find the way of life through the words of God in the bible which gives us wisdom and understanding for our salvation. Thanks to God Elohim, Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother Jerusalem.

  • Those Who Witnessed Miracles

    If we look at the bible, we can see many instances when God revealed his glory and great power. And many people witnessed and could be saved through the belief they have in God and many others could not see the glory of God and rejected the words of God to their own destruction. Then according to the bible what kind of people could witness the glory of God and believed?

    Do whatever he tells you.

     

    John 2:5  5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you. 6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. 7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. 8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.” 11 What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

    When Jesus command them to fill the jar with water, they filled and when Jesus commanded them to take the water to the guests, they did. When they completely obeyed to the words of God, they could see the water changing into wine and they could believe in Jesus. When God told Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea, and he did and they could see the red sea divide into two and cross the sea on the dry ground. When God told Joshua and Israelites to shout toward the wall of Jericho, they could see the wall collapsing immediately. When they obeyed the words of God, they could see the miracles and the power of God, they could believe and be saved through the faith.

    God wants us to get rid of our own opinions and follow his command because he has always better plan for the one who believe and obey his words. Over and over again we can see the examples through the bible that teaches us to obey the words of God. Those who completely obey to the command of God could finally see the glory of God, the salvation of God. In the same way, we must obey the words of God for the salvation. What is the words of God given to us for our salvation.

    John 6:53  Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him at the last day.

    How can we participate into the resurrection of the dead for eternal life at the last day? Through his flesh and blood. To have eternal life we must eat his flesh and drink his blood. And also he taught his disciples about how to eat his flesh and blood. On the night of the Passover, he said:

    Luke 22:19   And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body (or flesh) given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

    Through the Passover bread and wine we can receive his flesh and blood and we can receive the promise of eternal life. Therefore, to see the glory of God we must obey and keep the Passover. Who saw the glory of God? Those who completely obey the words of God. Then to be the one who is worthy to receive the promise of eternal life what is necessary for us? God has always better way than us. Only Those who believe and obey can be a part of the plan of God, and those who don’t will be destroyed. Jesus said, “If you love me, obey what I command.”

    The Church of God is the only church which believes and obeys the words of God in Passover. And It will be the only church which will see the glory of God, the salvation of soul. Give thanks to God Elohim who has better plans for us and now reveals to his people.
