God’s Teaching

Since the beginning of its foundation by Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem, the World Mission Society Church of God is always interested in the voluntary work for various purposes. The members are actively involved in those activities in order to obey the words of God Jesus gave 2000 years ago.

” You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-15)

To follow the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother, the members have worked for such activities as disaster relief, cleanup campaigns, blood drives, visiting senior citizen centers or orphanage, etc.

Awards The Church Received

These efforts of members to shine the glory of God finally have come into fruition through various awards they received. They were given citations and awards by many different personages and organizations such as mayors, governors, city governments, presidents. They received citations from President Obaman of the United States, and also many presidents from many other countries.

Most recently, the World Mission Society Church of God, aka, WMSCOG received a prestigious award from the Queen of England in 2016. This is the highest award in the United Kingdoms and its Commonwealth for the voluntary work. It was the first religious organization which received the Queen’s Award for the voluntary work.

Its Future Activity

Even though WMSCOG does not work for the awards itself, through these awards we can be sure that they are truly putting the words of God into practice. The members of the churches of God around the world will continue to involve in various voluntary activities for the glory of God.

Just as Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother have taught, they would eagerly work for the better of the society as the light and salt of the world.
