The bible is the book of prophecies leading us to heaven. And we should have firm faith in the words of God. Then as the parable says, we can build our house on the rock, which is the Christ. The Christ is the mystery of God. And we can know the answer for the mystery through the prophecies of the bible.
The bible prophesies that the Christ would come again for the second time for our salvation. Then how can we know the Second Coming Christ, the mystery of God in the bible? Through the prophecy of the throne of the David we can know who the Second Coming Christ is. Let us study the bible diligently to know and receive the Second Coming Christ who was to come as Prophetical King David.
The bible teaches us that we must seek David in the last day for salvation. Then who is the David and how can we correctly recognize him for salvation?
David and Salvation
Hosea 4:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.
Then who is the David we have to seek in the last day? Since this book was written 250 years after the death of the physical David, the second king of Israel, we have to understand this spiritually. The David this prophecy speaks about is the spiritual David who would come in the last day.
This prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus 2000 years ago by coming as David sitting on the throne of David.
Luke 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.
The time frame of the prophecy of the Book of Hosea is the last day, the end time. Jesus fulfilled this prophecy by appearing at the end of the old covenant and establishing the new covenant. However, the true last day is the end time just before the Day of Judgment. It concerns about the time when God comes to punish the peoples of the earth with fire.
The Prophecies in the Book of Ezekiel
Just before the Day of Judgment, we have to meet King David for the salvation. Without finding him, no one can be saved in the last day. The Book of Ezekiel also testifies that God would come as David and grant salvation to his people in the last day.
The time frame of this prophecy is the end time. The prophecy says that it concerns “on the day of clouds and darkness.” (Ezekiel 34:2) At the end of the chapter God prophesies that He would come as David and take care of his sheep as good shepherd. (Ezekiel 34:23) We can see the same prophecy in Chapter 37 of the book.
Ezekiel 37:24 My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. 25 They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. 26 I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. 27 My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. 28 Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.
All these prophecies teaches that God would come as David in the last day and He will gather his people and give them salvation. That is why in the book of Hosea, God teaches us that we have to seek King David in the last day for the salvation.
The Sign of David
Then how can we know the David and receive him for the salvation? God gave a clear sign to David that we may recognize him. The bible teaches that David will bring the eternal covenant for our salvation. And through the eternal covenant we can know David and come to him for salvation.
Isaiah 55:2 Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. 3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
For the life or salvation of his people, God says that he will make an everlasting covenant. This covenant is God’s promise given only to David. Therefore, David who appears in the last day for salvation must bring the everlasting covenant God gave him as promise.
Then what is the everlasting covenant that gives life to the soul? In the Book of Hebrews God shows the main attribute of the everlasting covenant.
Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep
The everlasting covenant is the covenant established with the blood of Christ and it has power to give life even to the dead, which means it has power for eternal life and salvation. According to the bible, Jesus who appeared as David 2000 years ago, established the everlasting covenant with his blood, which is called the new covenant Passover. (Matthew 26:17, 26~28)
Luke 22:19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
Conclusion
Even though Jesus established the new covenant as spiritual David for the salvation of soul, around 4th century the everlasting covenant was abolished by the work of Satan. As the Book of Ezekiel describes, God people got scattered all over as lost sheep and became prey for the wild animals.
For this reason God must come again as good shepherd. Then in our time who came as King David according to the prophecies of the bible restoring the everlasting covenant for the salvation of soul? It is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the everlasting covenant that is the new covenant Passover. Christ Ahnsahnghong is the spiritual David that we have to meet for the salvation.
Now God is calling us to come and receive the salvation by keeping the new covenant Passover, which is the true everlasting covenant God promised to David.
Probably there are not many who have heard of Melchizedek in the bible. And there would be still fewer who have ever studied about Melchizedek. Then why is it necessary to know about Melchizedek or the Order of Mechizedek? Who is Melchizedek? To understand the meaning of Melchizedek in the bible, let us think about some of the figures of the Old Testament.
Typological Figures in the Bible
To understand the spiritual connotation of Melchizedek, first we must understand a key feature in the bible which God gave us to teach us the Christ: Typology. Typology is defined like this in the Webster’s Dictionary:
typologies. 1 : a doctrine of theological types; especially : one holding that things in Christian belief are prefigured or symbolized by things in the Old Testament.
Biblical Typology Typology is a method of biblical interpretation whereby an element found in the Old Testament is seen to prefigure one found in the New Testament. The initial one is called the type and the fulfillment is designated the antitype. Either type or antitype may be a person, thing, or event, but often the type is messianic and frequently related to the idea of salvation.
In Typology the bottom line is “a person, thing, or event in the Old Testament is working as type or copy to teach us the antitype or the reality which would be fulfilled in the New Testament.” This is a very important concept to understand the meaning of the bible. The Old and New Testament are related to each other. Otherwise there would be no need for us to study the Old Testament since it is over and finished.
But according to this concept the Old Testament is the key factor in understanding the peoples, things, and events in the New Testament because the former is working as prophecies to let us know about the latter.
In the moment of transfiguration, We can see Jesus along with Moses and Elijah. Moses and Elijah were prophets of God in the old days. However, they also have some prophetical aspects in them which were to be fulfilled by Christ.
Typology Explained By God’s Words
Even the bible teaches us the same thing and let us know the bible must be understood with the typological concept of the prophecies and fulfillments.
Hebrews 10:1 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves.
“The law” means the Law of Moses in the Old Testament and it was given as copy and shadow to teach us the reality, or the New Testament.
Colossians 2:15 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These (or the Law of Moses) are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
We have to understand the meaning behind it. Does the bible says that we don’t have to know the Old Testament anymore since the reality that is the New Tesament in Christ is established? No. Let us think about the shadow and reality. They are inseparable like the head and tail of a coin. Where there is a shadow, there should be a reality; vice versa. And we can know the reality better by looking at the shadow. So when God gave the Old Testament, he intended to teach us what was to be fulfilled by Christ in the New Testament. Therefore, we can say in this providence of God the Old Testament is essential to understand the New Testament.
Isaiah 46:8 “Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. 9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’
God said that he already revealed what was to come through the things in the past. And therefore, if we want to know the end or the future, we must consult the beginning or the past. For example, if we want to know the Revelations the last book of the bible, we must look at the Genesis the first book of the bible. In this sense, we can say that the two books of the bible are like pieces of a puzzle that we must put together to see the whole picture of the puzzle.
Isa 34:16 Look in the scroll of the Lord and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.
All the words of God has a mated verse and those verses are scattered all throughout the bible in the Old Testament and the New Testament, and we must find out the right piece to understand the meaning of certain verses of the bible by putting the mated verses together. And then, only then can we understand the true meaning of the bible.
Some Examples of Typology
I would like to give some examples of typology through some characters of the bible. Some figures of the Old Testament are working as types or prophecies to teach us the realities or the fulfillments in the New Testament. First, in the book of Genesis there is one figure Adam and this Adam was given to us to teach us the Christ who was to come as Adam.
Adam also works as type for Christ who would come at the last day or on the sixth day.
Romans 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.
This verse clearly shows us that the first Adam was given as pattern or type to prefigure the Christ who was to come in the future and fulfill the prophecies of Adam. For this reason, to know the Christ first we should know the first Adam in the Old Testament which was a copy or shadow of Christ. Moses was the same. Moses was a great prophet of God who set the Israelites free from the slavery of Egypt and led them to the Promised Land Canaan. And this Moses in the Old Testament was given as type too.
Deuteronomy 18:17 17 The Lord said to me: “What they say is good. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him.
God said that he would give “another prophet like Moses” in the future to teach God’s people. Through this verse we can see Moses also was working as type or pattern to teach us the one who was to come as spiritual Moses. And this was fulfilled by Christ by coming as another prophet like Moses and setting God’s people free from the slavery of sins and death and leading to the spiritual Promised Land, the kingdom of heaven.
Acts 3:20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.
Apostle Peter clearly says Jesus came as the prophetical Moses to fulfill the prophecy of the Old Testament. We can find many other figures who are working as types: David, Elijah, Melchizedek, etc.
Melchizedek as the Type of Christ
As we have already seen in another post, Melchizedek is also working as type to prefigure the Christ who would come as spiritual Melchizedek to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament.
Hebrews 7:15 And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears.
Then who is this “another priest like Melchizedek” who would appear in the future? It was fulfilled by Jesus Christ by coming as spiritual Mechizedek.
Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Who is Melchizedek? Unlike other priests of God in the Old Testament, why did Melchizedek bless Abraham with bread and wine, rather than animal sacrifice?
Jesus came as “another priest like Melchizedek” and thus to understand Jesus fist we have to understand the Melchizedek in the Old Testament. By studying physical Melchizedek in the Law of Moses, actually we can understand the life and work of Jesus better who came to fulfill the prophecies of Melchizede. In the following posts I would like to explain more about the meaning of Melchizedek?
Conclusion
Therefore, people who says that we don’t need to know the Old Testaments are misguided. We MUST know the Old Testament. Without understand the types in the Old Testament given as prefiguration or simply prophecies to teach us the fulfillment or realities in the New Testament, we cannot say we know the bible or we know the Christ who fulfilled all the Law of Moses. (Matthew 5:17)
Christ Ahnsahnghong is the one who fulfilled all the prophecies of the bible and appeared to us for the second time to give us the salvation. And he let us know the source of the water of life, the last mystery of God in the bible, God the Mother (Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem). Let us accept Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother.
Hebrews 9:28 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
This is a prophecy about Christ who is coming for the second time to this earth. He must appear a second time and bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. That is why those who are waiting for the Christ always want to know about the Christ who will come in the last days. When will he come? In what form would he come? What would be the sign of his coming? Disciples of his first coming also eagerly wanted to know about all these information about his second coming so that they would meet him to receive salvation?
Mt 24:1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
They wanted to know about his second coming and they asked about the things that would happen in the time of his coming so that they would know the time for his coming through the signs. To answer these questions Jesus gave a lot of teaching about the signs of his coming in the last days. Therefore, we also must know the signs he gave his disciples so that we would not miss him when he is coming. Then how would he come? In what form or way would he appear to us? The bible says, “He will appear a second time.” Through this we can get the hint of his second time. This sentence means he would appear a second time just as he appeared for the first time. Then how did Christ appear the first time? Even though he was God, he appeared to us as man in the flesh.
We can find out the Christ coming even through the word, “Christ.” Christ means “an Anointed One.” In the time of the Old Testament three types of people could get anointed: first kings, second high priest, and last prophet. So the Anointed One means a person who gets anointed to be a king, a high priest, and a prophet. Simply it was given to teach us the Christ in Greek or Messiah in Hebrew who would appear to his people to be a king, a high priest, and a prophet. This prophecy was, as we already know, fulfilled by Jesus who appeared to God’s people as Anointed One or Christ. He appeared as man in the flesh just like one of us and spiritually got anointed through his baptism to be a king, high priest, and prophet to the Jews. (John 18:37, Hebrews 5:10, Acts 3:22) Therefore, Christ means God who is coming as man in the flesh to get anointed as Savior for his people. This is how Christ appeared for the first time.
Then through this first coming we must understand his second coming too. The bible says he would appear a second time to bring salvation. Then how would he appear a second time? Many says that he would appear in his spiritual glory among the clouds and with a loud trumpet call with all the heavenly angel to make a judgment for all the people of the world. This is not true at all. Because Jesus himself prophecied that he would appear as man in the flesh for the second time and the purpose of his coming for the second time is not to make a judgment, but to bring salvation. It means his second coming is not for the destruction, but for eternal life. He foretold that the world would be filled with lawlessness in the last days and all the people would follow and worship the dragon (the Satan) in the last days without having the knowledge of God. In this situation, if he comes to make a judgment, who would receive salvation? Nobody.
Luke 18:8 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?
This is not a question, but he says that he would not be able to find faith on this earth. Then when he comes to this faithless world as judge in the last days, who would receive salvation? Through this we can see he must not appear among the cloud with full spiritual glory to make a judgment. Let us confirm one more time.
Luke 12:49 “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed!
He said that he must be baptized again in the future. Baptism is one time ceremony to be born spiritually on this earth. But Jesus said that he must be baptized again. Then what does this mean? It means he must come as man in the flesh for the second time and he must be baptized for the second time. In short, he is teaching us that he must come again as the Anointed One or Christ in the future to be a king, high priest, and a prophet. In the Book of John he teaces the same thing.
John 10:16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
He came as shepherd for the Jews 2000 years ago, but now he was prophesying that he must come as shepherd for the sheep outside the pen, which means Gentiles who were once not considered as people of God. He must come for the Gentiles and preach to them too, Then if Christ is coming as judge without preaching to the Gentiles, what would happen to the Gentiles? They would be destroyed, right? Therefore, he must appear for the second time as Anointed One and must preach the words of God to the people who did not know God and give them salvation. According to the bible he must come for the seocnd time as man in the flesh in secret and preach the gospel to his people to gather them together in the last days.
In the parable of “Weeds and Wheat” Jesus said that he would send out his angels at the harvest time or the end of age and pull out all the weed to tie them into bundles and burn in the fire. And also he would gather all the wheat or his people in the heavenly barn. About his Apostle John explains in the Book of Revelation:
Revelation 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
“Four winds” means disasters coming from all the four corners of the earth, which brings complete destruction for land, sea, and tree. The day when the winds are released is the Day of Judgment. But just before the Day of Judgment, God send out his angel to seal his people to give protection from the disasters so that they could receive salvation. Who would this angel be who brings “the seal of God”? Who has the authority to use the seal of God? The seal of a king can be exercised by the King himself. In the same way, the one who bring the seal of God is God himself coming down to bring salvation. That is the Second Coming Christ “who appears to bring salvation.” According to the bible, the seal of God which gives protection for the disasters is the Passover. Therefore, the angel who brings the seal of God is Christ who brings to restore the Passover of the new covenant which was abolished by Emperor Constantine in 325 BC. According to this prophecy, the one who brings the seal of God (or salvation) is the Second Coming Christ who we should wait for. Then at our time, who restored the Passover the seal of God again for us so that we can be protected from disasters? It is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Nobody on this earth could restore the Passover because God’s prophecy can be accomplished only by God himself. No wise man or scholar can understand the words of God in the bible. Therefore, Ahnsahnghong, even though he came in humble human form from a unknown family and country, is the Christ who we have been waiting for salvation.
All those who are waiting for the Christ who appears for the second time to bring salvation must come to Christ Ahnsahnghong and keep the Passover of the new covenant to receive the seal of God. Also we must receive God the Mother who is the reality of the new covenant, the true reality of Adam’s flesh and blood which gives us salvation.
The bible teaches about the Christ in many ways. The most prominent way is through the characters of the past God is teaching us about the Christ who is coming in the future and the one of the characters is David. The bible teaches us that we must seek David for salvation in the last days.
Hosea 3:4 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or household gods. 5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.
This is a prophecy about the last days and thus the Israelites are not physical anymore, but spiritual.
Roman 2:28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code.
By Jesus coming down to this earth, the promise of God could be given even to the Gentiles, who were not once considered as people of God so that they now could be the people of God who can receive salvation. So the Jews or Israelites in the last days are the spiritual ones. And then who is the David they should seek in the last days? The Book of Hosea was written in about 750 BC and it was about 250 years after the death of David the king of Israel. Therefore, the king David in the prophecy is not about physical David, who was the second king of Israel, but about spiritual David who would come in the name of David in the last days. Then who is the spiritual David that God’s people must seek for the blessings in the last days?
Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
Who is the Root of David?
Jesus is the spiritual David who was to come in the last days. Therefore, the spiritual Israelites must seek the Jesus who is coming second time for salvation in the last days. Without knowing the David in the last days, there is no blessings of salvation, and no salvation there would be no kingdom of heaven. That is why God’s people who are living in the last days must seek the Second Coming Christ who is coming as King David. Then how would they be able to recognize Christ coming as King David? Jesus already foretold that there would be many false prophets and false Christ in the last days when he comes for the second time.
Matthew 24:23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
What is the way for us to recognize the true Christ coming in the last days? In the last days, to deceive people and hinder people from recognizing the true Christ many false prophets and false Christ would appear and if we do not have the spiritual eyes to know the true Christ, we might be deceived by a false one and might be led astray. To help us know the true Christ, God already gave a sign which belongs to the Christ who was to come as spiritual King David. Then what is the sign given to David?
Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. 2 Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. 3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you* may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
* or your soul (NIV 1984)
Out of God’s love to David, God gave a promise to David through an everlasting covenant so that the soul could live. Therefore, the Second Coming Christ who is coming as King David in the last days must bring this everlasting covenant that gives life to the soul, that is, eternal life. This is the promise of God only given to David so that people could recognize the true David, the Second Coming Christ in the last days. Then what is this everlasting covenant that gives life to the soul? If we take a look at Jesus who also came as spiritual David 2000 years, we can know the covenant that gives life to the soul. Jesus who came David established one covenant with his people and that was the new covenant of the Passover.
Luke 22:19 19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
Jesus, the spiritual David gave a new covenant on the night of Passover through his flesh and blood. In the book of Isaiah God called this covenant as the everlasting covenant and it was given to his people to give life to their soul, that is, eternal life. Likewise the new covenant Jesus made with his flesh and blood has also power to give life to the soul so that the mortal man can have eternal life in heaven.
John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
What was the way we could eat the flesh and blood of Christ? It was the new covenant of the Passover. Then why did Jesus establish the new covenant? To give eternal life or the life for the soul. The people of this world are under the slavery of sins and death. This life on this earth is short and would come to an end at one point and nobody can live forever. Jesus came 2000 years ago as spiritual David and established the new covenant to set us free from the slavery of sins and give us salvation the true blessing we must receive to enter the kingdom of heaven. And according to the bible the same Jesus who came 2000 years ago must come again in the last days, bringing the everlasting covenant again.
Then why should he come back again as spiritual David for the second time and why should he bring the new covenant or the everlasting covenant back again? It is because the new covenant Jesus established with his flesh and blood was abolished by the work of Satan. In the council of Nicaea, Roman Emperor Constantine nullified the everlasting covenant that gives life to the soul. Ever since people could not receive the promise of God, eternal life. There were many biblical scholars and religious reformers and leaders, but nobody could bring this new covenant back again to give us eternal life. It was because this promise was only given to spiritual David, Christ. Only the Christ who is coming in the last days would be able to bring back this Passover so that people can recognize the true Christ. This new covenant was given as symbol to teach us the true Christ who is coming in the last days.
Jesus who came as King David
Even though there might be many false Christ, through the new covenant Passover we can know the true Christ. Then who restored the new covenant in our time? No scholars or no biblicist could teach us the Passover and nobody could know it despite their wisdom and knowledge. It was only Christ Ahnsahnghong who could restore the Passover along with all the festivals of God. Then who is Christ Ahnsahnghong? There is only one answer: He is the spiritual David that we must seek to receive the blessings of salvation because this everlasting covenant was God’s promise given only to David. It is only prophetical David who can restore the new covenant!! Christ Ahnsahnghong came as spiritual David and gave his flesh and blood through the Passover bread and wine and he is giving us the life for the soul, eternal life. Let us seek Christ Ahnsahnghong and the forgiveness of sins coming from him. Then he will grant us eternal life, the true blessing we must receive in the last days. And he taught us the true reality of his flesh and blood, the true reality of the new covenant, Our Mother. We should obey Mother because she is the reality of the covenant or the Word of God. She is the Word who came in the flesh in the Book of John.
John 1:14 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
About our Mother who is coming in the last days and makes a dwelling among her people in the flesh, he also wrote in the Book of Revelation:
Revelation 21:2 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
What is the Heavenly Jerusalem? Apostle Paul testifies in the Book of Galatians that the Heavenly Jerusalem is our Mother. Then what does it mean the heavenly Jerusalem comes down from heaven and put God’s dwelling among his people? It means that our Mother the reality of the Word of God would come down from heaven and make a dwelling among her people in the last days. To fulfill the prophecy our Mother came down to us to give us the covenant of God, the promise of eternal life. And the bible says those who receive the heavenly Jerusalem would be able to be called God’s people. Therefore, we must accept the new Jerusalem, our Mother. Let us give praise and thanks to the Spirit and the Bride who give the water of life to us!
The bible teaches the lessons through the physical things of the earth. Since human beings cannot perceive the spiritual world, God always teaches human beings through something they can understand, things they can see and know in everyday life. Since the family system in heaven is indescribable with human knowledge, God simply uses the terms used in an earthly family such as father, mother and children.
Also God uses historical figures to teach us the Christ. One of the characters of the Old Testament used to represent Christ is King David. Then why is Christ represented as King David? It is because Christ and King David share certain characteristics. Since we don’t know Christ, who is spiritual, we must take a look at King David first to know who the Christ is. By looking at the life and work of physical King David, God let us know the Christ who would fulfill those works of David spiritually. Let us find out the relationship between Christ and David through Zion, the city of David.
The Life and Work of King David
Then why is the Christ called King David? Let us first take a look at the life and work of King David.
2 Samuel 5:4 David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years. 5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned over all Israel and Judah thirty-three years. 6 The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. …. 7 Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion—which is the City of David. 9 David then took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built up the area around it, from the terraces[b] inward. 10 And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.
Jesus Coming as King David
This is the work of David: he became king at the age of 30 and ruled his people 40 years and built Zion, the city of David for him and his people as a dwelling place. This work of David was given to us as prophecy, so that we would be able to know the Christ who would come and fulfill the prophecy spiritually. 2000 years ago, Jesus came King David and fulfilled the prophecy:
Luke 1:32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.
The Spiritual Kingdom of God
He came as David to reign over his people establishing a kingdom. But we should not think all these things spiritually. Then what is his throne and what was his kingdom?
Luke 22:29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me.
Jesus definitely received a kingdom from God and gave it his disciples, but in the physical sense none of the disciples were kings ruling over a physical kingdom. Therefore, we must know the spiritual meaning behind it. Then how did Jesus fulfill the work of David? Then what is the spiritual kingdom Jesus established? The Zion, the city of David David established as dwelling for him and his people. Then what is the spiritual Zion Jesus should establish as spiritual King David?
Isaiah 33:20 Look on Zion, the city of our festivals; …. 21 There the Lord will be our Mighty One. …. 22 For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.
Jesus Establishing Zion
What is the spiritual Zion? It is a church that keeps the festivals of God. And God himself is dwelling as king, giving laws of God to his people. So Zion, the spiritual dwelling place of God and his people is a church where God’s people gather together and keeps the festivals of God. Zion is the true city of David which spiritual King David, Jesus must establish on this earth for his people. So God’s people must go to Zion and then they can learn the laws which God gives for his people so that they can receive the salvation.
Then did Jesus establish Zion as King David? If we take a look at the ministry of Jesus, he was establishing Zion by keeping the festivals of God such as Sabbath (Luke 4:16), the Passover (Matthew 26:26), Tabernacles (John 7:2), etc…. When he kept these festivals of God, he was actually establishing Zion, the City of David. Then at what age should Jesus establish Zion? At the age of 30 just as King David who was anointed as king at 30. After baptism Jesus started his ministry at 30.
Jesus Ministry as King David
Luke 3:21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too….Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry.
He started his ministry at the age of 30 to fulfill the work of David. To make it complete he must preach the gospel for 40 years just as King David ruled over his people 40 years. But Jesus fulfilled this part of prophecy incompletely to open a way for his second coming. When he came for the first time, he taught gospel only three years, not 40 years. By leaving the prophecy unfulfilled, he was preparing for his second coming to fulfill all the prophecies of the bible so that he may be known as spiritual David.
Second Coming Christ Coming as King David
Then in the last days, when he is coming back again, there are several clues given to us so that we can know who the Christ is, who is coming as King David. Then what are the works that must be fulfilled by the Second Coming of Christ? First, he must start his ministry at 30, and complete the throne of David by working for the gospel for the unfulfilled 37 years of the throne of David. And he must establish Zion, the City of David and must teach his people the festivals of God.
Christ Ahnsahnghong, King David
Then who fulfilled the prophecy of the bible? Christ Ahnsahnghong. He got baptized at the age of 30 and finished 40 year reign of David by completing 37 years of unfulfilled throne of David. On top of all these things, the most important feature of David fulfilled by Christ Ahnsahnghong is the City of David, Zion. Zion had been in ruin during the Dark Ages, when the laws of God was completely abolished by the work of Satan. Nobody could bring back the festivals of God.
This was also done to fulfill the prophecy because according to the prophecy it is only David himself (Christ) who would be able to establish Zion, the City of David by restoring the all the festivals of God as it was written in the Book of Revelation: “See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He (Christ) is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” No one can open the bible and teach the true laws of God except for the Second Coming Christ who is coming as David. Through the fulfillment of all the prophecies, we can truly tell that Ahnsahnghong is the true Christ testified in the bible!
