    God’s Creation Work

According to the bible, the Six-Day Creation represents the six-thousand years of God’s salvation work, the spiritual creation of God’s people. God is working for the last six thousand years to make us into a new creation who resemble God. About this creation work of God, Jesus Christ said:

John 5:17 Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.”

God is working all these ages to create us into the image of God. Even though we are unholy and sinful unworthy to receive salvation or eternal life in heaven, since we are created into a holy people of God through the creation work of God, we can be the royal priesthood of God in heaven, reigning with God forever and ever.

    A New Creation

Apostle Paul teaches us that God is making us into a new creation that we may be holy just as God is holy.

Colossians 3:10 Now you are wearing a new life, a life that is new every day. You are growing in your understanding of the one who made you. You are becoming more and more like him. (ERV)

Ephesians 2:10 God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do. (ERV)

Through the creation work of God, we are made into a new creation resembling the image of God.

1 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

The Process of the New Creation

However, the process that we are created into the image of God is not easy. To make us into a new creation, God is working as workman. In this process, God puts us in a many different situations to test us and to shape us.

In the time of Moses, God set the Israel people free from the slavery of Egypt, and led them to the land of Canaan. Before allowing them the land as inheritance, first God tested them and shaped them as people of God by putting them into many different situations. Through this process they were made into a new creation worthy enough to be called the people of God.

Until they are completely made into the new creation, God was working over and over again, leading them through the desert.

Deuteronomy 8:2 Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

The New Creation Through the Words of God

Spiritually, it is the same. God put us into a spiritual desert. Sometimes, we are put into a plentiful circumstances, and other times a lacking ones. We go through many difficulties and sufferings in wealth, health, relationship, preaching, faith, etc. And God is searching our heart to know if we are depending on the words of God or not.

When we come to completely rely on the words of Go, obeying the commands of God, we can be the new creation and enter into the kingdom of heaven, our spiritual home Canaan.

    Refined Like Silver or Gold

Sometimes we are compared to silver or gold refined by God. We are like gold and the words of God is like fire. We are refined through the fire that is words of God (Jeremiah 5:14) that we may become pure like gold or silver.

Proverbs 17:3 The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart.

Isaiah 48:10 See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

    Made Into Pottery

Also we are compared to a lump of clay made into articles of a house for various purposes. When a potter make a jar with a lump of clay, he uses water to make it easy to shape the lump into various forms. Without water it is almost impossible to shape the lump into a desirable form.

It is the same with us who are the lump made by God. God is shaping us with the words of God, that is, water. (Ephesians 5:26) We can be made into a creation desirable for the purposes of God when we have the water that is the words of God in us.

    Conclusion

Ceaselessly, God is creating us into the image of God even now. When the creation work becomes complete and we are made holy just like God, then God will allow us to enter the heaven. Until the process is over, we diligently obey the commands of God, making effort to resemble God in every way.

[WMSCOG] The End Of Creation Work: A People Not Yet Created

    The Creation Work Of God

The End Of Creation Work–The bible testifies about the six-day creation in the Book of Genesis. God created all the things and took a rest on the seventh day.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

    The Completion Of Creation Work

The End Of Creation Work–Then truly did God finished all the creation work on the sixth day and there is nothing to do more for the creation work? About the creation work of God, Jesus testifies like this:

John 5:16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. 17 In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

The religious leaders of the time disapproved of Jesus healing people on the Sabbath or the seventh day. The day was a day rest given by God to commemorate the creation work of God. About their criticism, Jesus said that God was still working for the creation and the work of creation had not finished yet.

This words of Jesus sounds contradictory to the words of God in Genesis. Then what is the meaning of Genesis? According to the bible, the Book of Genesis was given as the outline of the general plan of God for his creation work which would come to happen to fulfill as it is recorded in Genesis.

Isaiah 46:10 I make known the end (the completion of creation work) from the beginning (the start of creation work), from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

Through the Book of Genesis, God was showing what was to be done at the end.

Six-Day Creation, Six-Thousand Years Of Salvation Work

The End Of Creation Work–Then what is God’s plan written out in the Book of Genesis?

2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

According to the bible, one day is like one thousand years in the eyes of God. Therefore, prophetically speaking, the six-day creation represents the six-thousand years of God’s salvation work. The Book of Genesis was the starting point of the creation work. And from that moment God was revealing what would happen all throughout the six thousand years of his creation work.

In this sense, since the end has not come yet, we can assume that God is still working for the creation. And his work for his creation is not completed yet.

    The End Of  Creation Work

The End Of Creation Work–Then how would this creation work end? At the end of the six-thousand-year creation work, what would happen and who would be able to be made complete to inherit the kingdom of heaven?

Psalm 102:18 Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord: 19 “The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, 20 to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.”

David through the Holy Spirit wrote this book. He says this psalm was written for “a future generation,” or “a people not yet created.” Through this we can be sure that the work of God’s creation has not finished yet. There are still people who are under the slavery of sin and death. However, God would make them to be a new creation in order that they would receive salvation through the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

End of Creation Work: Heavenly Jerusalem God the Mother
Glory of Zion and Glory of Jerusalem

    Restoration of Zion

The End Of Creation Work–Then when would this happen? If we look at the previous verse, we can know the timeframe when this would happen.

Psalm 102:12 But you, LORD, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations. 13 You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come. 4 For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity. 15 The nations will fear the name of the LORD, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory. 16 For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory. 17 He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.

When the appointed time comes, God would have compassion to Zion. And He would show favor to Zion by rebuilding it. Even though once Zion was in ruin covered with dust, God would restore the Zion and reveal his glory or salvation to his people in Zion. He would listen to their prayer and respond to their plea. And they would be created new by receiving forgiveness and salvation.

    Second Coming Christ Restoring Zion

The End Of Creation Work–Spiritually, Zion is the city of God’s festivals. (Isa 33:20) Jesus Christ established prophetical Zion by establishing the new covenant. He kept all the festivals of God in the new way according to the Law of Christ. Through this new covenant God’s people could receive forgiveness (Mt 26:26-27) and salvation (Jn 6:53-54).

After the ascension of Jesus and death of disciples, however, the new covenant come to be changed by the work of Satan. The Sabbath was abolished in 321 AD and the Passover 325AD. All the truth of the new covenant had disappeared gradually one by one. And Zion, the city of festivals was neglected and deserted by people.

But the bible says that God would “rebuild” Zion again by restoring the festivals of God. And this is the appointed time of God when God prepared for “a people not yet created”. By restoring the festivals of God, God would rebuild Zion and show his glory by giving salvation to his people.

    Christ Ahnsahnghong Opening Seven Seals

The End Of Creation Work–Even though nobody could open the seven seals, finally Christ Ahnsahnghong came as the Root of David and reveal all the secrets of the bible. (Rev 5:1-5) He restored all the festivals of God and rebuilt the broken altar of Zion.

He let us know the new name of Christ and also God the Mother who is the true source of living water in our time. As is prophesied in the Book of Micah, now brothers and sisters from all around the world are gathering to Zion to keep the festivals of God.

Micah 4:1 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. 2 Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

They are coming to Zion to learn the laws of new covenant and listen to the words of God coming from Jerusalem Mother. We should give eternal thanks to God giving us salvation by restoring the festivals and rebuilding Zion. Now is the time for the completion of the creation work of God. Whoever wants to be made into a new creation, please come to Zion, to the World Mission Society Church Of God.
