    The Prophecies of God

It is agreed by most people, whether they are believers or not, that the bible is the best-selling book ever written in the world. Why is the bible so popular among people? It is because the bible contains the many prophecies about the world and human beings in it.

God’s Plan for the End of the Age

The End of Age Hidden in the Creation of the World

The bible is the book of prophecies. Also, as we can see through the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation, those prophecies have come true. And that is why we should believe the words of God in the bible. God teaches us that all the words in the bible are prophecies of God.

Isaiah 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

The Plan of God and the Plan of Man

This means that God already planned the end of the world even when he created this world. And he recorded his plan in the bible in the form of prophecies. Some might say that we can make a plan and make it come true. Then are we God too? There is essential differences between the plan of God and that of man. The plan of man can change as time goes by. But the plan of God never changes. I will be surely done as he has planned without any fail.

Isaiah 14:24 The Lord Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.

When we look back on the prophecies of the bible, we can confirm that the word of God are absolute prophecies that are being fulfilled at God’s appointed time. God make it sure that he would fulfill everything according to the words of God in the bible.

Matthew 5:18  “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

God’s Intention Contained in the Prophecies

Discerning God and Idols Through the Prophecies

There are a couple of things that God intends to achieve Through the fulfillment of the prophecies of the bible. First, God wants us to distinguish what is true and what is false. Today, people believe in so many different things. It is mainly because they do not know how to distinguish truth from falsehood.

God gave us the prophecies that we may know the true God through the prophecies and their fulfillment.

Isaiah 41:21 “Present your case,” says the Lord. “Set forth your arguments,” says Jacob’s King. “Tell us, you idols, what is going to happen. Tell us what the former things were, so that we may consider them and know their final outcome. Or declare to us the things to come, tell us what the future holds, so we may know that you are gods. Do something, whether good or bad, so that we will be dismayed and filled with fear. But you are less than nothing and your works are utterly worthless; whoever chooses you is detestable.

As we can see through the examples of mediums, spiritists, sorcerers, etc. in the bible, there are many people who claim to believe in gods and tell prophecies given by those gods. However, the difference between those gods and God the Almighty is that the words of God are absolute and be fulfilled surely at God’s appointed time. The words of the prophets of the idols are not. God is giving the signs and prophecies that we recognize who the true God is.

Faith in God Through the Prophecies

Second, God gives us prophecies that we may have faith in God. Some people think that God performs miraculous things and tells prophecies to reveal the power and authority of God. However, this is not the essential reason for prophecies. What God really wants to teach us through the prophecies is our faith to God.

God wants us to have absolute faith in God. To instill the faith in us God chose prophecies and the words of God.

John 14:29 I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.

The glory of God and the salvation of God is in the words. God created the heavens and earth through His Word and the same Word of God accomplishes the last purpose of God, salvation of souls. Therefore, without absolute faith in the words of God, we cannot be saved. That is why to give us complete faith in the words God gave us prophecies. We can trust the words of God and obey them when we see the prophecies and the fulfillment.

    Conclusion

Now has come the end of the six thousand years of God’s salvation work. God has appeared as the Spirit and the Bride and seeking those who have faith in the words of God. We should diligently study the words of God in the bible that we can have firm faith in the Spirit and the Bride who fulfilled all the prophecies of the bible.

  • Get On Board To A Running Train

Get On Board To A Running Train

    Train of Prophecies
Can the train change its route and schedule to suit our circumstances?

    A Train Of Prophecies

What can we compare the prophecies of the bible to? The bible is made up of many prophecies, which contain all the information about the spiritual route to the kingdom of heaven. It starts from the beginning, the Book of Genesis, and runs all the way to the end, to the Book of Revelation.

If we follow all the courses right as it is foretold in the bible, we can reach our destination, the kingdom of heaven. In this sense, we can compare the bible to a train running for a destination. A train which starts from Seoul to Busan has its own route to follow and a set time for each stop. It follows the exact schedule of its own. If it deviates from the appointed rail and follows a different direction, it cannot reach the destination. Even it can face a big trouble on its way.

    Train of Prophecies
Why do people gather at station at appointed times? To catch a train!! In the same way, we have to go to a spiritual station Zion at the appointed times of God to catch the train of salvation.

    Prophecies of the Bible

It is the same with the prophecies of the bible. The prophecies of the bible are like routes for the spiritual train to the kingdom of heaven. It has its own appointed places for stops and appointed times. Unlike the train schedule which can be changed to suit the conveniences, however, the schedules for this train of prophecies cannot be changed in any way.

God has set the time and destination and nobody can make any compromises to the plan of God.

Isa 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ 11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.

God has made a plan for the end even from the beginning and everything has been being accomplished as God planned at the beginning. And everything that remains will be done according to the plan of God. Nobody can change the course and schedule predetermined by God Almighty.

Train of Prophecies of the bible
We have to hurry before it is too late.

Get On Board to A Running Train

If this is the case, what should we do if we want to ride on a train to Busan? Can we change the rail course to make a station in my front yard? No, we must go to a nearest station and get a ticket to Busan. Since the train would not come to us, we must move onto the train and board on it.

It is the same with the train of prophecies. We cannot change the plan of God to suit our schedule. Therefore, what we can do is to run toward the train of prophecies and get on board the train. We have to catch up the train since the train will not change its course to give ride to us. Sorry, but this is the reality.

Therefore, rather than making complaints about the train schedule, we have to make changes on our schedule to catch the train. If not, we might miss the train and regret for not having made the necessary changes on our schedules. The train of the prophecies is now running toward the end, the final destination of the kingdom of heaven without stopping.

Now is the time to jump on to the train before it is too late.

  • [WMSCOG] If God Is Standing In Front Of You

[WMSCOG] If God Is Standing In Front Of You

When Jesus came down to this earth 2000 years ago, he was not welcomed by his people even though he was the God they had believed since the time of Abraham.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

Ecce Homo! Look at this man. Who is he to you? Is he a man or God? Is Christ Ahnsahnghong a man or God?

It was mainly because people just looked at the physical appearance of Jesus Christ: his family background, his education, his social status, his birth place, his appearance. When they considered these physical aspects of Jesus, he was a son of carpenter unschooled and unauthoritative. Everything they saw about Jesus made them fall away from him. They could see only “a mere man who claimed to be God.” They could not see the Almightiness of God: his power and glory in Jesus Christ. Jesus was completely different from their expectation of God. Therefore, they mocked him and ridiculed him, saying, “Prophesy! Who hit you?” after blindfolding him.

Jesus was so much distressed about Jerusalem for its unbelief and disobedience, and he wept over it, saying, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes.” Their savior was standing in front of them and teaching them that he was God that “I and Father are one.” The blind could open their eyes, but those who claimed that they could see was condemned because they were spiritually blind and yet they refused to be healed.

John 9:39  Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.” 40Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?” 41Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

The same Christ who came as humble man is prophesied to come back again as man in the same way. The bible says that “he will appear for the second time for salvation to those who are waiting for him.” Just as he appeared as man in the flesh for the first time, he will appear as man for the second time.

1John 3:8  The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

How did the Son of God or Jesus appear for the first time? Then how will he appear for the second time? When he appears as man in the flesh for the second time, are we better prepared than Jews in the time of Jesus? Can we recognize him and accept him or are we going to make the same mistakes by rejecting him and losing our chance of salvation?  He already prophesied that he would be rejected by people when he comes back for the second time.

Luke 17:25  But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

Why will the Second Coming Christ be rejected by people of the contemporary generation when he comes back in the last days? It would be because of the same reasons for which people rejected him when he came for the first time. People will judge the Christ according to the worldly point of view or human standards such as his education, family, birth place, occupation, etc.. And people will reject him because he does not match with their own expectation.

Imagine that Christ is standing in front of you as passerby on the street, in subway, or at a bus stop. Will you be able to recognize him as your savior? Would you be able to say, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” like Peter. How would you know him? The same Peter let us know how he could know the Christ. Even though others deserted Jesus, he could remain in Christ with faith in him. He said:

John 6:68  Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? you have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”

Through the words of God he could see the true identity of Jesus hidden behind the flesh and blood. Through the fulfillment of the words of God he could recognize the Christ. To fulfill the prophecies of the bible, the Spirit and the Bride, our Father and Mother came down to this earth to give us the words of eternal life. They are calling, “Come to me and I will heal you so that you can see and hear.” Now what do you think of yourself? Do you think you are blind or you can see? If you admit you are blind, Father and Mother will heal you so that you can see and believe. But if you insist that you can see, you might have to find your own salvation, which would be impossible.

Jeremiah 2:13  “My people committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”

God teaches us to seek God and he will answer you. Seek the Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother Jerusalem and then they will heal you with living water and lead you to the eternal heaven where we should go back. if God is standing in front of you, will you be able to recognize the man as God who might be at odds with your expectation in every way? Can you say like Peter, “I know who you are by the words you give us” by believing in the words of God in the bible?
