God The Mother: In The Creation Of Adam And Eve

During the six day creation of God in Genesis, the last thing that was created man. And the bible says that the creation of man was given to us to teach us about the invisible image of God. If we look at man in the book of Genesis, God created man into two different images: male and female, both of which were fashioned after the very image of God. Through the first man Adam and first woman Eve, God is teaching us the spiritual Adam and Eve. Then who are the spiritual Adam and Eve? And why do they need to be created?

    The Spiritual Adam

Genesis 1:27  So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

When God created man, God put his invisible image into the creation of man. According to the creation work of God, both male and female were made to represent the image of God. The first man Adam was created according to the male image of God, who we call “God the Father.” Then who was Eve created to represent? It must be the female image of God, that is, God the Mother.

    Adam and Eve
Creation of Adam: Instead of saying, “Let there be a man”, God said, “Let us make man in our image and in our likeness”. Among all the creations, why did God give man the image of God? What does God want ot teach us through the creation of man?

Let us confirm this through the bible. First, let us look at the purpose of God in the creation of Adam. Nothing was created without any purpose or the will of God. Then what was the will of God in the creation of Adam?

Romans 5:14  Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

According to the bible, Adam was created as the pattern of the one who is to come so that we can understand “the one to come” through the story of Adam. Then who is “the one to come” in the bible? It is the Christ Jesus. 2000 years ago the prophecies of the bible about “the one to come” was fulfilled by Jesus Christ and in the same way the prophecies of “the one to come” in the last days would be fulfilled by the Second Coming Jesus.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was offered as a sacrifice one time to take away the sins of many people. And he will come a second time, but not to offer himself for sin. He will come the second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. (ERV)

About this Christ who was to come for the second time, the Revelation says:

Revelation 22:20  He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

Again and again the bible says the one to come in the last days is Jesus Christ. But when Jesus comes, how can we know who the true Jesus is who we have been waiting for? To teach us how to recognize the true Christ, the bible says he will come to follow the pattern of Adam. In other words, he is coming as spiritual Adam.

Since Jesus was God the Father himself, we can conclude that God created Adam to teach us his coming as man in the flesh, which was fulfilled partly by Jesus 2000 yeas ago and would be fulfilled completely in the last days by his coming as Adam when he comes for the second time. In short, Adam represents God the Father coming as man.

    The Spiritual Eve

If Adam represents God the Father, then who does Eve represents? As we have already seen, Eve was created to let us know the another image of God, God the Mother. Through the creation of Eve, God wanted to teach us the God the Mother who would come as woman in the flesh in the last days. 2ooo years ago when God the Father appeared as spiritual Adam in the name of Jesus, he did not bring his wife, the spiritual Eve. She was kept hidden until the last days.

    Adam and Eve
Who is Eve, who was created with Adam’s flesh and blood?

According to the prophecies of the bible, Spiritual Eve must appear in the last days along with Spiritual Adam, the Second Coming Christ to complete the salvation work. Then why should Eve appear in the last days. To understand the work of the spiritual Eve, first we must look at the physical Eve who was also given as pattern for the spiritual Eve. Then what was the purpose of God in the creation of Eve.

According to the bible Eve was created as helper: “But for Adam no suitable helper was found” (Genesis 1:20) It means she was created to help Adam. Adam was not complete by himself and God created Eve to make up for the lack in Adam. Even though Adam could do everything by himself, there was one thing that he could not do alone: Giving life to the children. Therefore, to help Adam to procreate or to give birth to offspring.

Genesis 3:20  Adam named his wife Eve (or Life), because she would become the mother of all the living.

The name Eve means “life” or “living” in the Hebrew words and she was created to give life to the children. Through this physical Eve, God is teaching us that it is only through the spiritual Eve (God the Mother) the spiritual life can be given to the children. And to give us the eternal life God the Mother must appear along with God the Father in the last days.

    The Eternal Life

Just as Adam was the first man who gave life to the children, the bible says Jesus is coming as Adam to give the spiritual life to the spiritual children.

1 Corinthians 15:45  So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

The purpose of the appearance of the last Adam or Jesus Christ is to give life to the children. For this purpose Christ must come again as Adam or man in the flesh for the second time in the last days, but when he appears to give us life, he must come along with the spiritual Eve, God the Mother because it was not the will of God to give life to the children only through Adam. But more importantly God created Eve and gave the role of child-birth so that she would give life as mother.

In this story of Adam and Eve, God already foretold the work of Christ who is coming as Adam and Eve to give us eternal life. To give us eternal life or salvation, the Second Coming Christ (the Last Adam) must reveal God the Mother (the Last Eve) who is coming to give us “eternal life,” just as Adam revealed Eve by testifying about her as it is written:

Genesis 3:20  Adam named his wife Eve (or Life), because she would become the mother of all the living.

Adam gave the name and role for Eve and this work of Adam was a prophecy to let us know the work of the spiritual Adam. This prophecy was fulfilled by the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong revealing God the Mother as the last Eve who appeared to give us the eternal life.

    Conclusion

The last hidden mystery of the bible, the Last Eve coming as mother of all the living was finally fulfilled in our time. Now we must recognize God the Mother who came as woman in the flesh and accept her and the living water coming from her to receive eternal life. Come to the World Mission Society Church of God established by God the Father and God the Mother in these last days.

  • God The Mother: In The Creation Of Man

God The Mother: In The Creation Of Man

As I said before, God the Mother is testified in the creation of mankind too. Everything created on this earth was given to us to teach us the invisible qualities of God. We cannot see God and know God spiritually because God is invisible and imperceivable by human being who is physical. The bible says we cannot perceive the spiritual things with our physical senses.

1 Corinthians 2:13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

Spiritual things can be compared and understood only by spiritual things. That is why people who have only physical understanding through the physical senses thinks the words of God to be foolished because they are spiritually discerned.

Spiritual Things Manifested in Creation of Man

Then how can people who belongs to the physical realm grasp the spiritual world and things? The bible says all the created things were given to us so that we can understand the spiritual things in heaven.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Created things on earth was given to us so that we can understand the invisible and spiritual things in heaven. Especially, among many created things mankind has a special meaning in creation. Mankind was created to teach us directly the invisible and divine nature of God. By studying the creation of man God intended to let us know about himself clearly. For this reason, if we want to know God, we must look at the creation of man. Now, let us find out the hidden and invisible nature of God through the creation of man.

Man, a Copied Image of God

Let us simply think about the copy manchine and how it works? For example, if a teacher made copies of his math test and by mistake he dropped a copy in a hallway. A student who passed by picked up the copy and looked at the content. What would he do? Will he say, “Oh, this is just a copy so it is not real,” and will he throw the copy away? Probably not. He would take that copy joyfully and feel happy for the luck. Why? Because a copy contains exactly the same as the original in everything such as passages, test questions, pictures and illustrations, graphs, etc.

Man, who was created according to the image of God , has two different images: Male and Female. Then how many images of God can we expect to see?

Man is working in that way. Even though we cannot see the original image of God, the bible says that mankind was given as copy to show the original and invisible image of God. Therefore, by looking at the creation of mankind actually we can see the original image of God. Let us find out if it is correct.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Can we see God or perceive God? Then can we say why one God use the referent “us” and “our” to signify himself? Here confusion rises and people says, “Oh, this must be a misinterpretation.” However, before making a hasty judgement, we must think carefully about everything relevant to this. The very first thing we have to think about is if our idea of the singleness of God’s existence is true or not. What if God is plural and our belief that God is one is wrong? Who can surely say God is only one? Think about your neigbor who just moved in. You can see only a man in the house and no wife or children. Because of that can you surely say that he is single? Even on this physical thing about us, we cannot be sure. How then can we say we can be sure of spiritual and invisible things in heaven?

Why does God again and again refer himself in a plural form? Even why does he say Elohim or Gods for 2500 times in the Old Testament to mention about himself? We do not know the reason. But luckily God gave something we can know to reveal his identity: Mankind. He used man as the copy of his image so that we can know the invisible image of God through the visible image of mankind.

    God as Male and Female

To find out the image of God, let us look at the image of man which was created in accordance with the image of God.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Mankind was created into two different images, that is, male and female. Through this copied image of man, we can easily guess the original image of God, right? Then what is the image of God reflected in the creation of man? They should be the same as the image of man. Therefore, we can conclude that the original image of God must be also male and female. After examining all these things, is there still a man who can say this is wrong? If he insists like that, it is as much as saying that he does not believe in the bible.

According to the creation of man, God must exist as male and female just as man has two different images, male and female. And as Christians we already know the male image of God who gave his image to the first male Adam and we tend to call him “God the Father.” Then what should we call the female imagle of God whose existence can be understood in the creation of Eve? Should we not calle Her “God the Mother”?

    Conclusion

I was intended to present evidences about God the Mother through the last several posts. And now the evidences are building up so that we cannot make any excuse about the existence of God the Mother. Quite often it is his own ideas about God which hinder us from understanding the truth of God. 2000 years ago Jews had one stereotyped idea that God cannot come as man in the flesh and because of their adherence to this notion they could not accept Jesus who came as Savior.

It seems like people today have one such stereotype that God cannot be female. But just as Jesus was God who came as man whether they believed it or not, God can exist as female and we must call her God the Mother and accept her as our Savior.

  • God The Mother: Hidden In Creation

God The Mother: Hidden In Creation

Today I would like to discuss the existence of God the Mother through the creation on this earth. Nothing was created without certain meaning or God’s intention. Everything is created to show the will of God. Today let us think about one creation of God, that is, Mother and through the physical mother on this earth let us find out God the Mother who gives us the spiritual life.

    God’s Will in Creation

Why were things on earth created in this way? It could have been made in different ways. For example, let us think about the family system on this earth which is used to give life to next generation so that living things can continue to live on in the earth. God could have created a different system, but rather for all the living things on this earth God gave the same family system, that is, a system that contains a father and a mother to give life to their children. Can you imagine a family without a mother? Maybe you can, but it would not be considered to be ideal or perfect.

Can you imagine a family without a mother?

Can you call a family when a piece for a mother is missing?

Every living things on this earth is given life through the same family system, where there are a father and a mother giving life to their children. And what does the bible says about this family system. The bible says that everything on this earth was created by God and according to the will of God.

Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

All things that were created by God includes the family system, too. This family system on this earth which can be applied to almost all the living things was created by God according to the will of God. Then what was the will of God when he created things on this earth.

Visible Things Given to Teach us the Invisible

The bible teaches God created all the things on this earth to teach us the things in heaven. The kingdom of heaven is invisible and spiritual and we cannot understand the spiritual world since we are physical, not spiritual. But God wanted to give us some knowledge about the spiritual world and for this purpose he created this physical system to reflect the spiritual system.

Rather than creating a completely different system on this earth, the Bible says that God created this physical things on this earth as copy and shadow of the invisible things in heaven. And He did like this because he wanted to give us general ideas about the spiritual world. Therefore, by looking at the physical world, we can actually understand the spiritual and invisible world.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

The invisible things of God are shown clearly through the creation so that we would not be able to make any excuse by saying, “Oh, God we did not know the spiritual world, because it is invisible.” If we try to make that excuse, God would say, “Have I not show you the spiritual world through all the created and visible things on this earth?” For this reason, we must take a close look at the physical things on this earth to know the things in heaven.

    Life Only Through Mother

Since everything on this earth was created according to the will of God to teach us the invisible world, the family system must have been created by God and according to the will of God to teach us the invisible and spiritual things in heaven. Therefore, to find out the spiritual family in heaven, we must first look at the physical family on this earth. On this earth a family is made up of three things: a father, a mother and children.

Moreover, this system was created by God’s will so that a new life could be given to the young. What is more important in this system is that the life for the children is given by the female, or mother. This was also the will of God. In the creation of Eve or the first female, the bible explains that she was created to help Adam. Then what kind of things can be done by Eve to help Adam? Is it the physical or manual labor which need a lot of strength? Probably not. If that was the purpose, God could have created another male so they could work together. About the creation of Eve, the bible teaches like this:

Genesis 3:20 Adam named his wife Eve (or Life), because she would become the mother of all the living.

The name Eve itself contains the will of God in creating her. Eve means “Life” or “Living” in the Hebrew word and she was created to be the mother who could give “Life” to the children. Through this creation work, we can know the will of God in creating “a female.” She was created to give life to the children. Then through this creation of mother on this earth, what spiritual lesson does God want to teach us?

According to the bible, Eve or “Life” in the literal sense was created to give life to the children.

He wants to teach us the existence of God the Mother. Through the mother on this earth as copy and shadow, God let us know the reality of God the Mother in heaven and also just as the physical mother gives the physical life to the children according to the will of God, God wants to teach us that it is God the Mother who can give us the spiritual life, that is, the eternal life.

    Conclusion

About God the Mother, the bible says:

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

The word “above” means “in heaven,” and thus it means that in heaven we have our mother as well as our Father. And about the children of God, the bible says:

Galatians 4:31 Therefore, brothers (or children of God), we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

God’s people are called the children of the free woman. If God is only Father, God’s children must be called the children of the free man, not woman because God is Father (male), not Mother (female). But the bible says that the true children of God are the children of the woman, that is, God the Mother.

In conclusion, we must know God the Mother who can give us the eternal life. The Mother who was in heaven in the vision of Paul came down to this earth according to the prophecies of the bible to give us the eternal life. Come to God the Mother and receive the water of life.

  • God the Mother: Evidences in the Bible

God the Mother: Evidences in the Bible

How do we come to know an existence of someone or something? For example, if there is a person who has never seen an elephant, how does he know that an elephant exist? It is probably because he had seen enough evidences to believe the existence of an elephant through pictures, movies, documentaries, books, testimonies of others, etc. He has seen and learned enough evidences and that is why he is sure that an elephant exists.

However, it does not apply only to a personal level, but even to the level of general accumulation of knowledge of human beings. At first, they could not believe something, but later as more evidences were given, they could have no choice but to believe it. For example, at first nobody believed that this earth is moving in an alarming speed around the sun or this earth is round. But now people know these things as common senses because they have seen enough evidences through many things. And even though we do not see the revolution of the earth around the sun, we know that it is true.

Invisible Things Seen Through Visible Things

Human beings perceive things and gain knowledge through the senses, but the senses are imperfect and they can perceive only little things. For example, when something is too small or too big or too far or even too near, our eyes cannot perceive them. Is there anybody who can see their eyelashes which is right in front of their eyes? No. Since human senses are so imperfect, human beings created many things to make up for their sensory perception such as telescope and microscope. Through these things we can see the imperceptible things around us.

What is the picture above? It is a picture of bacteria on human skin. Just because we cannot see, can we say that our skin is so clean and beautiful? No. With the help of a microscope, we can see so many things living on our skins. What about our ears? Can it hear all the sound? Our ears are limited too and also we can hear sounds in the range of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Beyond this range, we cannot hear even though there are many other sound waves floating around us. The perception of colors are the same.

Even though many sounds and colors are imperceptible to human beings, how do we know they exists? It is because we know that they exist through books, videos, or even through a direct experience with some devices.

    Spiritual Telescope and Microscope

The spiritual world is the same. We cannot perceive the spiritual things because we are physical. However, it does not mean the spiritual world does not exist. It exist whether we believe or not. Just because we cannot see or hear, we cannot just dismiss the invisible world as if it does not exist.

We can see the imperceptible world through a telescope. Likewise, we can see the spiritual world through the bible.

The spiritual world DOES exist and even influences us in the physical and spiritual level. We can hear the news or stories of people who experienced the near-death and resuscitated back to life. Even though their body is dead, still another part of them wakes up, seeing and experiencing things. This can be explained only through the existence of soul. After the death of the physical body, the soul becomes separate from the body and leaves the shell which it has been staying.

And the Bible also testifies about the separation of the body and soul:

2 Corinthians 12:1 I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. 3 And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— 4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.

What was it that could be in the body or out of the body? It must have been the spirit or the soul of Apostle Paul. His spirit was separated from his physical body and taken up to the paradise or heaven and experienced many spiritual things. Actually, the whole bible itself is concerned about the spiritual world. It contains the testimonies about the spiritual things: things that we cannot perceive through our senses, but things that can be perceived only through special devices. In this sense we can say that the bible is the spiritual telescope and microscope which let us see the unseen world.

God the Mother in the Bible

This bible which teaches us the spiritual world let us know the existence of God the Mother. To many people, especially to many Christians, this might sounds preposterous and nonsensical. But think about many scientific facts which is accepted to be true today. For example, today people know and accept the earth turns around the sun. When this idea was first announced by Galileo, however, due to the lack of knowledge people thought that he was crazy and threatened him to discard his opinion. Later, when more evidences have been discovered and now we believe that he was right.

The existence of God the Mother is the same. Due to the lack of the knowledge of the bible, many people might think the existence of God the Mother as something foolish or even outrageous. But when we look at the spiritual microscope and telescope, we can see the existence of God the Mother with enough evidences that we cannot deny it. The reason we believe in God the Father in the first place is because we have seen enough evidences for him through the bible. The knowledge of God the Father is not something new to us. Because of the lack of knowledge, however, the evidences of God the Mother have been hidden to us up until now. But now we come to discover more evidences of God the Mother so that we can accept and believe.

Then what kind of evidences have been hidden in the bible? I would like to show some evidences one by one through the several posts following. I hope you would come to know the existence of God the Mother through the biblical evidences and accept Her for your salvation.

  • A Story: A Right Answer

A student was working hard to prepare for a math test. But however much he tried, he could not understand anything. Moreover, the test was right next day. So he went to bed with his mind much disturbed by the test. Before laying himself down, he prayed to God so that he would get good score.

  • Sabbath For Man, Or Man For Sabbath

There is one teaching of Jesus Christ which is often misunderstood and misinterpreted by people. Now let us loot at the verse and find out the true meaning of the verse.

Mark 2:27  Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”

Seemingly in this verse Jesus teaches us that we don’t have to keep the Sabbath. They interpret this verse like this: What is imporant is theman and even the Sabbath was also made for man. Therefore, the bottom line is not in keeping the Sabbath, but in man who believe in God. So it is wrong  to blame a man for not keeping the Sabbath. But is this true?

  • The True Gospel

    The True Gospel

WMSCOG and true gospel–The word ‘gospel’ was originated from the Old English, which means good spell or good news. Since sinners on this earth who are destined to die can receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life, how good news (or gospel) it is! That is why the very first thing Jesus did was preaching the gospel of the heaven.

Matthew 4:23  Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

The Blessings Contained in the Gospel

WMSCOG and true gospel–Then why is the gospel so important? It is because all the promises of God for our salvation is contained in the gospel. And special blessing are given to the gospel workers.

Ephesians 3: 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

First, through the gospel the Gentiles, who were once not considered as God’s people, can be the people of God and they can be heirs of God who can inherit the kingdom of heaven; and also they can become the members of the body whose head is the Christ and they can become one body with Christ; and finally, they can share the promise of God, that is, the eternal life in Christ. Since the gospel is such an important task, God allows this gospel work only to the people who he has chosen and he also guaranteed salvation for the gospel workers.

Philipphians 4: 2  I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.

    The True Gospel

WMSCOG and true gospel–Since the gospel contains such great blessings, many people who believe in God want to work for the gospel and also there are many Christians who proudly call themselves as gospel workers, preaching a gospel with a sincere heart and genuine mind. However, what we have to make sure is what the true gospel is, not a gospel. However diligently and fervently may we work, if we do not preach the true gospel, what good it may bring to us. All the effort and work would be meaningless and futile. More significantly, it can bring us a punishment rather than reward for preaching a false gospel. For these and other reasons we have to know what the true gospel is before we preach a gospel. Then what is the true gospel? Is the Sunday worship the true gospel? Or is the Christmas the gospel?

Since the true gospel was preached by Jesus and his disciples, we have to look at their testimonies to find out what true gospel is. Since most people who are working for the gospel today consider themselves as the believers of and workers for Jesus Christ, it is natural for us to look at the teaching of Jesus in the bible. Luckly enough Christ and disciples left enough evidences to make us sure of what the gospel is. The most fervent gospel worker was Paul, who was even ready to sacrifice his own life for the gospel. By looking at the work he was doing, we can surely confirm what the gospel is. Then what was he working for?

Colossians 1:23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant

Paul testifies that there was a gospel which was proclaimed to every creature and he was working for the gospel as servant or minister in King James Version. Let us take a look at a mated verse to find out exactly what he was working for.

2 Corinthians 3:6  He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life

In this verse, he says that he is working for a new covenant as minister. Did he had many different works or ministries that he was doing as worker of Christ? No, he was working for one thing: preaching the gospel of good news of the kingdom of heaven like Christ who he was following. Then if he was working for just one thing, what can we say the true gospel is? The true gospel is the new covenant that he was working for as minister. Then what is the new covenant?

The True Gospel, the New Covenant of the Passover

WMSCOG and true gospel–To find out the new covenant we must look at the teachings of Christ. What was the new covenant given to the disciples to preach to all the creatures of the earth?

Luke 22:19  14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. 15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. … 19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

On the night of the Passover, Jesus and his disciples kept the Passover and on the night of the Passover he established the new covenant. He gave bread as his body which was to be crucified on the cross, and he gave wine as his blood that he would shed for the forgiveness of sins of people. By eating and drinking the Passover we can receive the flesh and blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life which is the promise of God in the gospel too. Therefore, the true gospel is the Passover of the New Covenant.

Let us confirm this through the blessings of the gospel. Paul said that we can receive a lot of blessings through the gospel. First, even though we are once a Gentile, we can be heirs of God. What is the Passover? The Passover is a ceremony through which we can receive the flesh and blood of Christ and become His children. Just as a child has the flesh and blood of his physical parents, God’s chidren must have the flesh and blood of God. Even though once we were Gentiles, once we keep the Passover and receives the flesh and blood of God, then we can become God’s children and as children the heirs of God. Second, just as through the gospel we can become one body with Christ, through the Passover we can become one body with Christ as member of the same body.

1 Corinthians 10:16   16 Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? 17 Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf.

How can we take part in the body and blood of Christ? It is through the Passover and Paul says when we keep the Passover, we can become one body in Christ even though we are many. And the third blessing of God in the gospel was the sharer of the promise of God. The promise of God to children is the eternal life. (1 John 2:25) And this eternal life is actually given through the Passover of the new covenant.

John 6:53  53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

How does Jesus grant eternal life to the disciples? Through his flesh and blood. Then what was the way for us to take part in his flesh and blood? Through the Passover. Therefore, the Passover of the new covenant is the way we can have the promise of God, eternal life. And through all these things we can be sure that the true gospel is the new covenant of Passover.

    Words of Eternal Life
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:54)

The Fate of Those Who Preach A Different Gospel

WMSCOG and true gospel–This much clearly the bible says the true gospel is the Passover of the new covenant and this new covenant was the work Paul was doing in Christ. Then without having the Passover which is the core of the new covenant, is it possible to say that I am preaching the gospel? No. Preaching the gospel without the Passover is meaningless. And the gospel they are preaching is not the true gospel at all, rather it is a false gospel. God said that he would punish the people who are preaching a false gospel because they are doing something detestable in the eyes of God

2 Thessalonians 1:6   God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction.

Galatians 1:6  6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

What does he say about people who are following or preaching a different gospel which is no gospel? They will be punished and cursed by God. The good news they have been preaching and following actually turn out to be a horrible news for them in the time of a rude awakening. Let us think this seriously if we trust in the words of God and believe in Jesus Christ. Did Jesus and disciples preach the Christmas? Did Jesus and disciples attend the Sunday worship service? Did Jesus and disciples carry literally cross and put crosses on and around their church? Did they keep the Easter with bunnies and decorated eggs? Did they dress like Santa Claus and gave gift to the kids?

     Conclusion

WMSCOG and true gospel–God gave mission to preach the gospel of the new covenant to save the souls, but there are so many who are working to destroy the souls of people. We should have spiritual eyes to distinguish what is true or not. Otherwise, just as Jesus said we might fall into a pit along with others who were blindly following false things.

In these last days to save us and give us eteranl life, Christ Ahnsahnghong came and restored the new covenant of the Passover which was abolished by the work of Satan in 325 AD. He opened the way to eternal life and salvation again. And Heavenly Mother Jerusalem who is the reality of the new covenant came to give us eternal life. Even though once we were following false things out of ignorance, now we must turn our evil ways and come back to God, following the true gospel.

  • Go And Come

All the God’s Teachings can be summarized into three words: “Go and Come.” God came down to this earth to give salvation to people who are destined to die. The very first thing he did for this purpose was to gather his disciples.

    Mother’s Teaching: A Beautiful Mind

Once there was a father who had a son complaining all the time. One particular day, his son was complaining too much and the father wanted to fix his bad attitude for good and called his son. “My son, sit down here.” He called his son and made him sit in front of him and said, “Son, I really wish that you listen to whatever I say today and do as I tell you to do this once.” The son got alarmed and said that he would do. The father asked him to go to the kitchen and bring a handful of salt and a cup of water. When his son came back, he said, “Now put the salt you have in your hand into the cup and stir the water.” The son did as he was told and stirred the water of the cup after adding the salt. Then the father said, “My son, now drink the water.” The son was reluctant to do it, but since he promised that he would do anything his father told him to do, he drank the water. Immediately he frowned and looked at his father as if he was asking what it was all about. At that moment his father asked him, “What does it taste like?” “It is salty,” said his son.

Now the father told the son to bring a handful of salt again and took him to a lake and told him to put the salt into the lake. And he gave his son a stick to stir the salt water so that the salt would melt. The son stirred the water until he could not see any salt and looked at his father. His father told him to scoop up a cup of water from the lake and told him to drink. He dipped the cup and drank water from the lake. When he had finished, his father asked again, “What does it taste like?” The son said, “It is so refreshing and even it tastes sweet.” After listening to his son, the father told him. “What did you learn from this?” The son looked at him obediently. Then the father said, “Son, you are always complaining for everything. When something unpleasant happens, you show immediate response for it by complaining. You are like the water in the cup. When something happens, you are affected by it and summit yourself to it just like the water in the cup. When a small amount of salt was added to it, it became salty immediately even though it was clean and good in the beginning. But now think about the water from the lake. Even though you added the same amount of salt in it, it did not lose its taste and its taste seems to have improved after the salt was added.”

His father continued, “I hope you become like the water in the lake and you would accept bad things and change them into something good. You should not easily be influenced by things happening around you; rather you must keep yourself calm and give positive influence to others when something bad happens.”

Mother gave us one teaching. It says:

As the sea receives all the dirt and purifies it, we should have a broad and beautiful mind enough to cover up even the faults of our brothers and sisters. (Teachings of Mother)

In the same way, the story teaches us the same thing: not to complain. Rather, we should have broad mind to accept and purify bad things into something people can enjoy.

  • A Stone In Zion

To the people of God who trust in the words of God in the bible and who wait for the Savior to come to save them, how important is the coming of the Christ? It is the fulfillment of all the prophecies of the bible, and it is the true goal of their faith to find the Christ. But 2000 years ago when the Christ came to fulfill the prophecies of the bible, people rejected him and lost their chance for salvation. They mocked him, persecuted him, and crucified him in the end. How could this happen? How could people waiting for their Savior rejected him when he actually came?

Christ’s Coming As Stone in Zion

The reason they could not accept the Christ was because they could not recognize his true identity. When he came, the Christ hid his spiritual glory behind his body of flesh so throroughly that people only could see a man just like them, not the God or Christ.

John 10:30  I and the Father are one.” 31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” 33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

For this reason the Christ in the bible is describe as stone and his coming in the flesh is prophesied as coming as stone in Zion. Apostle Peter who correctly understood the true identity of the Christ testified that Christ came as stone in Zion to fulfill the prophecies.

1 Peter 2:4  As you come to him (Christ), the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—

Why is Peter calling Christ as stone? It was because of the prophecies of the bible. There are many prophecies of the bible which described Christ’s coming as coming as stone in Zion.

    Isaiah 8:14  He will be a holy place;
for both Israel and Judah he will be
a stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.

And for the people of Jerusalem he will be
    a trap and a snare.
    15 Many of them will stumble;
they will fall and be broken,
they will be snared and captured.”

When Christ came to fulfill this prophecy of the bible, he became a stumbling block to many of the Jews who fell down and destroyed because they stumbled and captured and snared by him. But to those who accepted him he became a foundation stone for their faith so that they would not fall even in the time of hardship and extreme persecutions.

Isaiah 28:16  So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
    a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic.

    The Meaning of the Parable

Then why is Christ’s coming compared to a stone? The Christ–who cannot be compared to any gemstone because he is more precious than any silver or gold, diamond or sapphire–is coming as stone which is most common objects which we do not consider as something precious or valuable. We have to understand the meaning behind it. Then why is his coming compared to a stone?

    Christ Stone in Zion

Even though he was a Christ or the God of heaven who appeared as man in the flesh, when he came, he looked exactly like one of us, a common man or a stone. Just as a stone is no more precious than the other, when he came as man, he was no better than any of us in his appearance. His glory and power, his authority and divinity was completely hidden in the body of flesh. Therefore, people only could see a man standing in front of them: a man who gets hungry, thirsty, weak and tired, a man who was silent and seemingly powerless when persecuted, a man who could not save even himself and died on the cross.

That is why to the Jews he was a mere or common man just like a stone that lay around them but was not cherished by anybody. His appearance as man in the flesh was represented as stone. Just as a stone is not much different from another, in the same way his appearance as man was not different from another who lived around him. Just as the bible says, when he came, God made him to be “like his brothers in every way.” (Hebrews 3:17) About his appearance, Prophet Isaiah wrote:

Isaiah 53:2  He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him
    .
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
4 Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities
    ;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.

According to this prophecy, Christ should be rejected and persecuted by his people because he did not have anything beautiful or majestic in his appearance. Even though he was coming to take up their sins and transgression to give them the forgiveness of sins, people did not recognize his true identity because of his outward appearance. He came exactly like one of them as stone.

    Those who Accepted Christ

Because of his appearance, he became a stumbling block, trap, and snare just as the prophecies said. And people fell, captured, snared, and destroyed because they thought that he was just a man in the flesh like one of them. But there were also a group of people–even though small in number, –who accpeted Jesus and could receive the salvation.

John 1:9  The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Even though many people rejected him and persecuted him, there were others who accepted him as their Savior and followed him even to the point of death. How could be possible? What was the difference between them? Those who rejected did not accept him because they saw the physical appearance of Jesus. Physically he came as stone and he was not different from any of them and therefore Jesus was just a man in their eyes. Whatever he did was a stone that made them stumble and fall. How could he feel thirsty and hungry? How could he be mocked and be silent? How could he be crucified and did not do anything to save him? With this in mind, they could say: “Prophesy who hit you! Come down from the cross if you are the Christ! Let his blood be upon our head and our children’s head.” They were so sure that he was not Christ.

But how could the disciples accept Jesus as their savior and followed him even to the end? It was because they knew the true identity of Christ that he was God who came down to this earth as man in the flesh. And even though his divinity was veiled by his flesh, they could see the hidden divinity of Jesus.

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” 14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Peter knew that Jesus was Messiah. Even though people understood Jesus as man just like one of the prophets before him, but Peter said correctly that he was the Messiah, the Christ. Then how could he know the true identity of Christ?

John 6:66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. 67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

At this moment all the people who had followed Jesus about 5000 of them deserted Jesus and fell away from him. Only the twelve disciples left behind. They believed him to be Christ even though he looked like a man, a stone. Even though many got stumbled because of his appearance, they could stand firm and testify that he was the Christ, the Son of God. Where did their faith come from? The difference was in the faith in the words of God. Even though 5000 people looked at Jesus and judged him with his outward appearance, the disciples held on to the words of God fulfilled through Jesus. Through the fulfillment of the words of God they could confidently say that he was the Christ, God who came as man in the flesh.

    Conclusion

According to the same words of God in the bible, it already prophesied that the Christ would come again as man in the flesh.

Hebrews 9:28  so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

The bible already prophesies that he would appear for the second time. Then how? As a man in the flesh just as he appeared for the first time. He would come as stone in Zion and as a result he would become a stumbling block and trap to many. They would fall, be captured and snared and ultimately get destroyed. But only those who trust in the words of God in the bible would correctly recognize him and remain faithful to him.

    Christ Stone in Zion
Who is this man to you?
Who is this man to you?

To fulfill the prophecies of the bible God came down as man in the flesh again for the second time for our salvation. He came in the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong just like one of us. As the bible says he has no beauty or majesty to attract us to him. But he is the Messiah testified in the bible. What should we do? Should we look at his physical appearance and reject him? Or should we look at the words of God? We must not look at the outward appearance of Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem. We must accept them by looking at and believing in the prophecies of the bible, calling them, “You are the Christ. You are the ones who have the words of the bible.”
