  • The Declaration of Heavenly Family Mission

The Declaration of Heavenly Family Mission

Heavenly Mother opened 2023 by giving us a mission to complete as members of the heavenly family. She proclaimed the Declaration of the Heavenly Family Mission to all the people of Zion. And she encouraged us to make efforts to complete the mission by the end of the year.

    • We will complete the gospel mission of the heavenly kingdom.
    • We will find all the members of the lost heavenly family assigned to us.
    • We will make the whole world repent and lead them to heaven.

On the Heavenly Parents Day, Mother reminded us of the mission given to us this year. In one video about the independence activists of Israel and Korea, Father Ahnsahnghong urged us to be the independence activists. He taught us that whatever happened in the past were given to us as copy and shadow. Through the examples of independence activists of Israel (or Zionists) and Korean independence activists he wanted to teach us to be the heavenly independence activists.

Our Heavenly family members are currently under the spiritual Babylonian slavery. To free us from the slavery of sins and death, Father came down for the second time, and also Mother came. Through their life as model, they are teaching us that we must follow their example because we are the members of the heavenly family chosen by God. We as firstborns of the family must find our younger brothers and sisters, and also we must take care of them.

Just as the Jews had two families, physical family and the Jewish people since they are their own kind. They have taken responsibility for one another considering a Jew as their own family member. We as a spiritual Jew also have two families: physical family and spiritual family (or the heavenly family). Father and Mother teach us to take responsibility for one another, taking care of every one of the heavenly family members that they may not suffer pain alone.

The Jews had a hope and endured all the sufferings with the hope:

    L’Shana Haba’ah B’Yerushalayim
    (Hebrew:
    לשנה הבאה בירושלים)

It means “Next year in Jerusalem”. They understood that the cause of all the pains and sufferings that they had to go through as a Jew was in the fact that they have no country. From this realization, the Zionists worked hard to get their nation back and finally they could proclaim independence in 1948.

This history of the physical Jew was given to us as example. As a spiritual Jew, we must also work for the heavenly kingdom our home by finding all our brothers and sisters scattered around the world. In the course of time, we might have to go through many difficulties, but this is the mission given by Father and Mother.

“Next year in the Kingdom of Heaven”

This must be our hope and we must endure this painful life with the hope for heaven. Father and Mother teaches us to be the sons who will be the heirs of heaven by taking part in the gospel work. Father gives us a lesson: The heavenly patriot is the true prophet. As prophets of God, Father and Mother wants us to work for the independence of the heavenly family.

Father earnestly urges us to work for the gospel by saying, “Restoring the truth is like restoring the country”. He is teaching us that we are the independence workers and our mission is in preaching the truth of the new covenant. To the heavenly family members, Mother gave us a mission: Complete the gospel work and restore the kingdom of heaven by finding all our heavenly family. And then we can go back to heaven, our eternal home. Even though we are nothing—we are like a child, God is calling us to be the workers giving us an errand:

Matthew 28:28 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Once a Korean poet described his life on this earth like this: “I was born on this earth to do the errand of mother, and now finishing the errand I have come back to mother”. Our life is like this. We came here to do the work of God and finishing all the work we will go back to Father and Mother. Mother is waiting for us without any rest. She is in worries until we come back safely after completing the errand. Let us finish all the errands assigned to us and go back swiftly to Mother and tell her that we have completed the mission and found all our heavenly family members.

  • A New Creation

    A New Creation

What is the work of God? According to the bible, God created heavens and earth in the beginning, and new heaven and new earth at the end. And He takes His people, the firstfruits of his creation work to the new heaven and the new earth.

2000 years ago, Jesus says that God is still working for the creation and the work of God is not finished yet.

John 5:16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. 17 In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

Jesus was healing the infirmities and disabilities of people, making them complete again. When people criticized him for the desecration of the Sabbath by working on the Sabbath Day, Jesus taught them that he was working to show them the work of God for the salvation.

The promise of God on the Sabbath Day was that He would make whoever keeps the Sabbath Day holy.

Exodus 31:13  “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy. 14 “‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people. 15 For six days work is to be done, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death. 16 The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. 17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”

God sternly warned against people who desecrated the Sabbath Day. They must be put to death. Then why is the Sabbath Day so important? Because it is the day when God promised that he would work to make them holy. When we keep the Sabbath Day holy, God is working to make us holy even though we are sinners. Therefore, by keeping the Sabbath Day holy, we are taking part in the creation work of God and made into a new creation to be holy like God.

God teaches us to be a new creation as children of God and we must be changed to resemble God.

Ephesians 4:22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Colossians 3:9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Then the question is how we can be changed to be a new creation resembling God as children of God? We do not know how. Since God gave His promise that he would make us holy on the Sabbath Day, however, we can be made holy according to the words of promise of God. When we keep the Sabbath Day, in the spiritual realm God is working for us that we may be holy like him.

John 5:8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, 10 and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.”

John 9:14 They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. 14 Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath.

John 5:16 So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. 17 In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

Jesus, who is God, was showing the creation work God is doing for the salvation of his people by healing their infirmities. He was teaching them how God is working to make us into a new creation.

  • Is the Cross An Idol?

    Is the Cross An Idol?

Today, churches have crosses all over on the rooftop and in the worship area. Even people carry crosses as sign for the Christianity to show to other that they believe in Christ and go to church. In this sense we can say that the cross is used as symbol for the Christianity.

However, God warned not to worship an idol in the Ten Commandments. Those who worship idols cannot receive blessings from God, but curses. Therefore, we have to make sure if the cross is an idol or not. To know what an idol is, we must find standards for an idol through the bible. Just because a pastor says that a cross is not an idol, we cannot be relieved and keep a cross with us. It is not the pastor who gives us blessings, but God. Therefore, we must know the thoughts of God to know about an idol.

Through Prophet Jeremiah, God gives clear standards for an idol. Then let us find out the criteria for an idol through the bible.

Jeremiah 10:1 Hear what the Lord says to you, people of Israel. 2 This is what the Lord says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them. 3 For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. 4 They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. 5 Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.”

Let us summarize the characteristics of an idol one by one.

    • First, it is a custom originated from the nations of the world, which means the custom of worshiping an idol is not the teaching of God, but the traditions of Gentiles, who do not know God.
    • Second, an idol is made out of tree by the hand of man, not by God.
    • Third, an idol is decorated with silver or gold to make it beautiful.
    • Fourth, it cannot stand by itself so it must be fastened with hammer and nail.
    • Fifth, it cannot speak, which means it cannot give any blessings nor any curses.
    • Sixth, it even cannot move by itself, so it must be carried by people.
    • Seventh, it has no power to do any good, nor do any good.

Now, think of the cross with these criteria from the bible. A cross originated from a Gentile custom. It is made of wood by the hands of craftsman. It is decorated with silver or gold. It cannot stand by itself, nor can it speak or move by itself. Does it have any power to do any good or any harm? No, definitely not. For these reasons, we know that the cross is an idol and worshiping the cross is idolatry. As believers of God we have to get rid of idols.  Moses warns about idolatry.

Deuteronomy 4:12 Then the Lord spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice.

When God appeared to the Israelites on the top of Mountain Horeb, God did not appear in any kind of form. Instead, God spoke His voice to the people. For this reason, He warned His people not to make anything in any form to represent himself. Rather He told them to listen to his voice and obey the words and commands of God. God is not the God of any form, but God of words, who gives the words of promise of salvation to his people.

Apostle John also describes God as Word.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

God is God of Word who created heavens and earth with his words. Therefore, it is wrong to make a form to signify God or the power of God. When we do that, we are committing idolatry. A cross is also a form and using a cross for the worship of God is practicing idolatry.

That which is now called the Christian cross was originally no Christian emblem at all, but was the mystic Tau of the Chaldeans and Egyptians–the true original form of the letter T–the initial of the name of Tammuz.

  • The Second Coming Christ Coming As Melchizedek

The Second Coming Christ Coming As Melchizedek

    Melchizedek Ahnsanghong

The Priest of God Melchizedek signifies Christ who was to come. There is a clear connection between Melchizedek and Christ. Therefore, the bible testifies Christ as Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Why is Christ called Melchizedek? What is the connection between them? In the Old Testament, the high priest of God Melchizedek blessed Abraham—who is the representation of the people of God—with bread and wine. (Genesis 14:17) In those days, the high priest worshiped God and mediated between God and His people by offering animal sacrifice.

It was only Melchizedek who blessed God’s people with bread and wine. It was the same 2000 years with Jesus Christ who came as spiritual and prophetical Melchizedek. In the time of Jesus, the high priest in the Order of Aaron mediated between God and the Israelites according to the Law of Moses by sacrificing animals as burnt offering to God for the forgiveness of sins of people.

And it was only Jesus Christ who blessed God’s people with the bread and wine of the Passover for the forgiveness of sins of people.

Matthew 26:26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” 27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

For this reason, the bible testifies that Jesus Christ was the high priest in the Order of Melchizedek, not Aaron.

Hebrews 7:11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. 13 He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. 15 And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16 one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.

Apostle Paul clearly states that Jesus was not born in the tribe of Levi to fulfill the priesthood in the Order of Aaron. Rather Christ was born from the tribe of Judah, in which there was no mention of a priest ever in the Law of Moses. Therefore, the priesthood of Jesus was completely different from that of the Levites. Considering all these things, we can conclude the signature trait of Jesus as a high priest is the bread and wine, which was the symbol of Melchizedek. That is why Jesus was prophetical Melchizedek.

And the bible testifies that the same Christ would come again in the last days for the second time.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

When he comes for the second time to give us salvation, then how can we recognize him? Through the connection between the Christ and Melchizedek, we can know the answer. When Christ comes again, we can know him through the symbol of Melchizedek: the bread and wine of the Passover which give us the forgiveness of sins and eternal life. With the bread and wine of the Passover, he is granting salvation to the people of God.

Even though we may not know who the Second Coming Christ is—where he comes from, what would be his name, and in what appearance he would appear, the prophecies of the bible clearly tells us that whoever brings the bread and wine of the Passover is the Christ who was to come. It is because only the Christ who is coming as spiritual Melchizedek can bring back the Passover. Today, who brought back the Passover which had been abolished for over 1600 years since 325 AD. It is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Then who is Christ Ahsahnghong according to the prophecies of the bible? He is the Second Coming Christ and our God who gives us salvation.

We must give thanks to him and rejoice for the salvation he grants to sinners who were once destined to be put to eternal death.

  • The Only One who Has Eternal Life

The Only One who Has Eternal Life

Who is the only one that has eternal life? It is only God as it is written in the Scriptures.

1 Timothy 6:15  which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

Only God is immortal, which means he has eternal life. Therefore, it is also only God who can give eternal life to us since only God has eternal life. Therefore, Jesus was God even though he appeared to us in the form of man when he came to this earth. He gave eternal life to whoever believe him and obey his teaching.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Jesus says that he came to give “life to the full,” which is “eternal life”. Also he taught his disciples about how to receive the eternal life that he promised.

John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

He promised eternal life to whoever eats his flesh and drinks his blood. Therefore, anyone who believes Jesus and do what he taught us to do for the eternal life can receive it according to his words of promise. He also taught how to eat his flesh and drink his blood.

On the night of the Passover, he gave the promise of eternal life by saying that the bread of the Passover signifies his flesh and the wine his blood. By eating the bread and wine of the Passover we can receive the flesh and blood of Jesus, and as a result we can receive eternal life.

The most precious truth of life, the Passover, however, was abolished by the work of Satan on 325 AD in the council of Nicaea. Since then, nobody could receive the words of promise. However, Jesus already foretold what would happen in the last days through the parable of weeds in the Book of Matthew. As he prophesied, the field or the world in general is filled with the weeds or the false gospel such as Sunday worship, Christmas, Cross worship, etc..

Since he already knew how Satan would work to destroy the truth, he also prophesied about how to restore the truth in the last days to save his people.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Since it is only God who has eternal life, without his coming nobody can receive salvation in the last days. That is why he prophesied about his appearing for the second time for the salvation. He must come for the second time to this earth in the form of man just like his first coming. And he must restore the truth of the new covenant Passover, which he established for eternal life in his first coming.

Today to fulfill all the prophecies of the bible, Christ Ahnsahnghong came and restored the Passover. And through the Passover, he reinstated the truth of life so that we can receive salvation by keeping it. Today many people reject Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother because they appeared as man in the flesh. Think of 2000 years ago. Even though he came as man in the flesh, who was Jesus? He was God because he promised eternal life, which can be made only by God.

Then let us ask ourselves and think of who Christ Ahnsahnghong is by suspending all the disbelief and prejudice. Let us focus on the eternal life that he brought back. Who can give us eternal life? It is only God. Then who is Christ Ahnsahnghong? He is our God as Prophet Isaiah prophesied about 2700 years ago.

Isaiah 25:6  On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines. 7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.

Isaiah foresaw the restoration of the Passover in the last days. He tells us that God would come and restore the Passover, “aged wine” to destroy the death forever. “Aged wine” signifies of the Passover which were abolished by Satan and kept hidden for a long time, which is why it is called “aged” wine. Then who is the only who has power and authority to restore the Passover?

Isaiah 25:9 In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”

The answer is that surely he is our God. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the aged wine of the Passover which had been kept hidden for over 1600 years. And he gave us eternal life by destroying the power of death forever, which can be done only by God. Now we have to realize who he is even though he came in the flesh. Surely he is our God and Savior. We must receive him with a joyful mind for the great salvation of God.

  • Honor Your Father And Mother

    Honor Your Father And Mother

Throughout the bible, God teaches us that we must honor our father and mother.

Ephesians 6:2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

In the Ten Commandments, the first commandment is “You shall have no other gods before me.” However, in Ephesians, the bible teaches that “Honor your father and mother” is the first commandment. Then what is the relationship between the two commandments?

The first commandments, “You shall have no other gods before me” means that God is the only one who gave salvation to the people and thus God’s people must worship only God, not the idols, which has no power to give salvation. And “Honor your father and mother” is the fifth commandment in the Ten Commandments.

Then why does Paul says that “Honor your Father and Mother,”—which is the fifth commandment—is the first commandment that we have to keep? When God commanded that we should not have no other gods before us, it means that we must worship only God. In the Old Testament, God revealed himself as God Jehovah and people called him as Lord. And the Israelites worshiped God as Jehovah.

However, when Jesus came 2000 years ago, he taught that God is our Father since we receive flesh and blood from God. We now can called God as Father since we are considered as children of God. And in the Book of Galatians, God teaches us that we have our Mother, that is, God the Mother in heaven.

Galatians 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

And Paul continues to teach that we can become the children of promise, or God’s people who receive the promise of eternal life from God. Therefore, when God taught his people that they must honor their father and mother, actually God was teaching them that they must honor the spiritual Father and Mother, God Elohim. And in that way, they come to fulfill the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me.”

Through the respect for the physical father and mother, God wanted to teach us the worship of God Elohim, our spiritual Father and Mother. By keeping this commandment, we can worship only God who gives us eternal life.

Hebrews 12:9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!

Through our love for the physical parents, God ultimately wants to teach us about our love for our spiritual Parents, God the Father and God the Mother. Let us honor our parents with all hearts, minds and soul. And then we can fulfill the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me.”

And God sternly commanded that those who do not honor their father and mother must be put to death. Through this we can know that how important it is to keep the fifth commandment. It was given only for the physical parents. It was teaching of God for the children of God to teach them that they must honor the Spiritual Parents for the salvation. Those who do not honor God the Father and God Mother cannot receive salvation.

  • The Children of God

    The Children of God

How can we become the children of God? Just because we believe in God, can we be the children of God? Jesus gave answer to this question by say, “Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven.” This means we cannot be the children of God who can become the heir of God only through the faith. Then how can we become the children of God?

Galatians 4:6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

In this verse, God teaches that we can be children of God when we have the Spirit of God in us.

Romans 8:14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

In Romans, Paul also preaches that we can be the children of God when we are led by the Spirit of God in us. Through the verses we can see that we must have the Spirit of God in us to be the children of God. Then how can we have the Spirit of God in us?

John 6:63 The Spirit is the one who gives life and the flesh doesn’t help at all. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life.

God teaches us that the words of God is the Spirit. Therefore, when we have the Words of God in us, we can have the Spirit of God in us and we can become the Children of God who can call God, Abba, Father.

Since the Spirit is the words of God that give us life, we should find the words and keep them. Then we can be the children of God, who can inherit the kingdom of heaven as heirs of God. Then what are the words of God that give us life?
On the night of the Passover, Jesus gave us the words of life that lead us to eternal life.

Here Jesus gave the words of life by saying that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood to have eternal life. When we eat and drink his flesh and blood, Jesus in spirit will be in us, which means he would put the Spirit of God in us. Then how can we eat his flesh and drink his blood. It is through the Passover. The bread of the Passover signifies the flesh or body of Jesus; the wine of the Passover, the blood of Jesus. (Matthew 26:26)

When we keep the Passover, we can have the words of life of God (or the Spirit of God) in us. Through the Spirit of God in us we can be called the children of God. Thus, the Passover is the way we can be the children of God. Let us keep the Passover and be the children of God who can inherit the kingdom of heaven as heirs of God.

  • Weeds and Chaff

    Weeds and Chaff

The bible teaches us that God is separating two types of people: those who are to be saved and those who are to be destroyed. Those who are saved are figuratively called “wheat”. And for those who are not to be saved, there are two different kinds: weeds and chaff.

The weeds are people who neither knows nor keeps the truth. Even though they claim themselves to know God and follow the commands of God, in reality they are practicing the lawlessness. During the harvest, they are made into a bundle and put into the fire to be burned. Today, these are those who keeps the Sunday worship and Christmas, which are not the laws of God. They are just following the traditions of man.

And also there are another kind of people who are to be burned in fire: chaff. Chaff is defined as “the husk of grains and grasses that are separated during threshing”. In other words, chaff is exactly like grain, but it has no grain in the husk. Therefore, it is considered useless even though it is in the form of grain since it has nothing to eat inside the husk. The chaff will also be separated from the grains and put into the fire to be burned.

Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Then who are considered as chaff spiritually? They are those who know the truth, but do not have firm faith in the truth. And they do not follow the truth, neither do they practice the truth. James clearly defines about the people who are like chaff.

James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. 20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

According to the definition, chaff is the one who has the knowledge of God. They are the people who are in the truth just like the grains. Outwardly they look like the true people of God who are to be saved. They are in the same group as the wheat. Unlike the wheats, however, the difference is in the fact that they do not put their knowledge into practice. In other words, even though they have faith in God, but they do not practice what they believe.

Through this we can know that it is not the knowledge itself that gives us salvation. When the knowledge is combined with action, then the knowledge can lead us into salvation. Therefore, if we want to be like grains who are to be gathered in the heavenly barn, we must have true faith by putting into practice what we have learned. Chaff is the one whose faith is not accompanied by deeds. We should not be like them. We should put each and every word of God into practice.

  • Repay According What He Has Done

Repay According What He Has Done

People say that the land is honest. It repays the farmer according to what he has done. If he has worked hard plowing and enriching the soil for the crops, he can expect good harvest in the end. However, if a farmer has done nothing for the crops and the field is abandoned—filled with weeds, then he can never expect good harvest.

Spiritually it is the same. Those who worked hard for the gospel, sowing the seeds and watering them by preaching the gospel, he will harvest abundantly. But those who wasted his time idling will end up with empty hands.

God says that he would repay according to what each person has done in his life.

Jeremiah 17:10 “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Revelation 22:12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.”

Now has the time of harvest came and God called us to be the harvesters to gather all the crops. We should be faithful servants of God who work diligently for the harvest, looking forward to the reward God promised in heaven. Despite being small, God will reward abundantly for every good things that we have done for the gospel on this earth.

  • What Can We Give Out to Others?

What Can We Give Out to Others?

We cannot give out to others what we do not have. For example, when we have no money, can we give money to others? When we have nothing to eat, can we give anything to others so that they can eat and be satisfied? We can give only what we have.

Spiritually, it is the same. We cannot give what is not in us. When there is no love in us, can we share love to others? When we have no patience, can we be patient to others? When we have no mercy in us, can we show mercy to others? We cannot. We can give only what is in us.

For this reason, Paul emptied out from inside what belonged to him, and he filled himself with Christ.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

Since Christ lived in him, he could live the life Christ gave as example. It is the same with us. We also must crucify ourselves and fill ourselves with Christ: love, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, etc.. God is holy and God wants us to be holy like Him. We should resemble God in every way. Then we can give to others good things stored in us.
