  • LOVE IS …..

    LOVE IS …..

    Love Is

What is “love”? People have tried to define love in many ways. These are some of the definition of love given by people.

    Love is Security.

    Love is Indescribable.

    Love is About Give-and-Take.

    Love is Respect.

    Love is Commitment.

Each person might have his/her definition of love and they try to practice what they believe to be love. Out of their faith in love, people do many great things. Some dedicate their whole wealth to practice the love of their own. And others even sacrifice their own life for the love they desire.

    Love of God

What is love? According to the bible, giving up their wealth or even life for the benefit of others is not the love God desires.

1 Corinthians 13:1 I may speak in different languages, whether human or even of angels. But if I don’t have love, I am only a noisy bell or a ringing cymbal. 2 I may have the gift of prophecy, I may understand all secrets and know everything there is to know, and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all this, if I don’t have love, I am nothing. 3 I may give away everything I have to help others, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing by doing all this if I don’t have love.

According to the bible definition, none of these can be categorized as the true love God wants us to practice. Love is not in the speaking of tongues, gift of prophecy, wisdom or knowledge, faith, altruism, or in the sacrifice of his own life for others.

Love Of Christ in the New Covenant

Then what is the true love? What is the love that we should practice in the eyes of God? On the night of the Passover, Jesus established the new covenant with the bread and wine which represent his flesh and blood. Apostle John describes the event and he let us know the love Christ wanted us to practice.

John 13:34 “I give you a new command: Love each other. You must love each other just as I loved you. 35 All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other.”

Jesus’ message of love was clear: We must love one another just as Christ loved us. If we find the love of Christ for us, then we can know what the love God want us to practice is. Then what was the love Jesus had for us? In the parable of the vine and grapes, we can find the answer for the question.

On the night of the Passover, Jesus gave his teaching as “the New Commandment” to his disciples, saying “Love One Another”. Then what is the way we can practice the love Jesus taught us? What is the Love God wants us to practice to one anothe? Can you give your opinion about what love is.

    The True Love of God

John 15:12 This is what I command you: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 The greatest love people can show is to die for their friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I tell you to do. 15 I no longer call you servants, because servants don’t know what their master is doing. But now I call you friends, because I have told you everything that my Father told me. 16 “You did not choose me. I chose you. And I gave you this work: to go and produce fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you anything you ask for in my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

After teaching us to love one another, Jesus reveals how to practice the love of God. To practice the love of God we have to do the work Jesus entrusted to us: “To go and produce fruit—fruit that will last”.

Bear Everlasting Fruits by Preaching the Gospel

The love of God for us is to bear everlasting fruit, that is, to lead people to the salvation of eternal life. Even though we sacrifice our life for others and let them live again, their life is still temporary and will end sooner or later. For a person who has conditions in the liver, I could eagerly sacrifice mine that he can live again. However, the life I gave will last only for a short while.

For this reason, the sacrifice cannot be called the true love God wants us to practice. Rather God wants us to deliver the message of the eternal life in order that they can have salvation and live forever. In other words, God wants us to bear the fruit that will last forever by leading people to eternal salvation in the kingdom of heaven living happily with God forever and ever. This is the love Jesus showed us throughout his ministry by preaching the gospel diligently.

Let us bear good and true fruit and give glory to God!!

  • Who Is the Passover For?

    Who Is the Passover For?

On this earth everyone has at least one or two ceremonial days for himself or herself such as the birthday, and wedding anniversary. Everybody congratulates him or her for the event on that day. Then what about God? 2000 years ago, God came down to this earth to save the sinners. However, nobody knows even the day of his birth.

His birth should be a great day of celebration for all of us. He did not come to this earth for his own glory. Rather he came down to us for the sake of us. He walked the path of sacrifice for over 30 years only for the sake of us the sinners who are destined to die.

Even though his coming was the most important day that they had to celebrate as everlasting festival, the fact is that nobody surely knew when he was born. His birth was not regarded as something to remember by the people of the time.

While staying on this earth, he taught his disciples the festivals of God so that God’s people can celebrate. He could have given them the festivals as days of worship and honor for him. He could have given them the festivals that he might be glorified.

He could have set up the festivals for his glory and the celebration of his great work. He could have command people to bring gifts and offering to him on those festivals for his honor. But he did not. On the contrary, Jesus established the festivals through his sacrifice. He had to go through sufferings to set up the festivals. The festivals were the days of pains and tribulations for him.

To set up the Passover, for example, he sacrificed his own body as sin offering for his people that their sins could be forgiven. All the festivals contain the blood Christ sacrificed for us that we might be blessed through those festivals.

While living, he did not set aside even one day for his own sake. His life on this earth was constant days of pains and sufferings for us. He was mocked, ridiculed, and persecuted because of the gospel that he delivered for our benefit, not for his own.

Today too, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem came down to this earth and restored all the festivals of God through their own sacrifice that we can be forgiven of our sins. While living on this earth, they cannot have even a day for their own joy and glory even though they are God who should be honored forever and more.

David Daning in front of the Ark of the Covenant with the mind of gratitude and joy for the blessings he received from God. What kind of mindset should we have when we keep the festivals of God?

The festivals should be the days of joy and thanks for us. However, even today people feel that they are doing favors to God by keeping the festivals. We do not realize the true meanings of the festivals. We act as if God wanted to be honored by us on the day, and the days were days of burden to us that we should sacrifice ourselves for God’s sake. Then is this true? Are we doing any good things to God by keeping the festivals? No.

In reality, the festivals are the days when God has to suffer for us. The days are the days of joy and happiness for us, granted through the sacrifice of Father and Mother. This year, I will keep the festivals with the mind of joy and thanks all the time, remembering the love and sacrifice of Father and Mother for our sake.

Luke 22:19 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

  • The Order of Melchizedek and Christ

The Order of Melchizedek and Christ

The bible testifies that the Christ who appeared 2000 years ago will come again for the second time in the last days for our salvation. (Hebrews 9:28) When he came for the first time, it was not easy for people to recognize him and receive him because he hid all the spiritual glory behind the flesh.

In the same way, when he comes for the second time again as man in the flesh, it would not be easy for people to recognize him. He would come to his people, but his people would not know who he is. Instead of the glory of God, they would only see the physical appearance of the second coming Christ.

Then how can we know the glory of God hidden behind the curtain of his flesh and know he is the one whom we have been waiting for?

    Jesus’ Eternal Priesthood

    The Order of Aaron

2000 years ago, Jesus came as high priest in the Order of Melchizedek. Before Jesus, the priesthood was given to the descendants of Aaron and it was called the priesthood in the Order of Aaron. According to the Law of Moses, which was the principal foundation of the Order of Aaron, a priest could mediate between God and God’s people through the animal sacrifice by shedding the blood of the animal.

However, the bible says that the Order of Aaron was only the copy and the shadow for the reality accomplished through the Christ.

    The Order of Melchizedek

Unlike the priesthood in the Order of Aaron, Christ came as the high priest in the Order of Melchizedek. As the high priest in the Order of Melchizedek Christ blessed his people with the bread and wine of the Passover so that we can be forgiven for our sins and receive the blessings of eternal life.

Christ came as the high priest in the Order of Melchizedek, and he gave up his flesh and blood as sacrifice to God instead of an animal sacrifice as it was practiced in the Order of Aaron in the old covenant. And the bible says that the priesthood in the Order of Melchizedek will last forever and it will not be changed anymore.

    Eternal Priesthood

Psalm 110:4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

In the Book of Hebrews Apostle Paul says that the priesthood in the Order of Melchizedek will last forever and God accomplishes the complete and eternal salvation through the priesthood of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Unlike the priesthood of Aaron in which the high priesthood changed many times because of death of the high priest and unlike the animals sacrificed in the priesthood which should be renewed whenever it was offered for they needed another animal for the sacrifice, the priesthood of Christ was eternal because there is no change in the high priesthood (because the Christ is eternal). Also in this priesthood, there is no need of another sacrifice because Christ completed the sacrifice by offering his body once and for all.

The Priesthood of the Second Coming Christ

Therefore, when the Second Coming Christ comes, he must appear as the high priest in the Order of Melchizedek, the unchanging priesthood of God. Jesus Christ gave up his body once for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

On the night of the Passover, he gave his disciples bread and wine of the Passover, which represent his flesh and blood. Just as Melchizedek blessed Abraham with bread and wine, Jesus blessed his people with bread and wine of the Passover. Jesus truly completed the Order of Aaron.

When Jesus comes for the second time for the salvation, he must come again as the high priest in the Order of Melchizedek.

Christ Ahnsahnghong The Second Coming Christ

The symbol of Melchizedek “the bread and wine” of the Passover disappeared during the Dark Age. In this state no one could receive the blessings of salvation. For this reason, Christ must come again as high priest in the Order of Melchizedek and restore the new covenant Passover the symbol of Melchizedek.

Today even though there are many different churches and religious leaders of many congregations, nobody could bring the bread and wine of the Passover and restored the priesthood of Melchizedek for the salvation of God’s people. It was only Christ Ahnsahnghong who restored the new covenant Passover. Therefore, we can surely say that he is the high priest in the Order of Mechizedek. He is the second coming Christ who can give eternal salvation to his people.

  • God’s Creation Work

    God’s Creation Work

According to the bible, the Six-Day Creation represents the six-thousand years of God’s salvation work, the spiritual creation of God’s people. God is working for the last six thousand years to make us into a new creation who resemble God. About this creation work of God, Jesus Christ said:

John 5:17 Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.”

God is working all these ages to create us into the image of God. Even though we are unholy and sinful unworthy to receive salvation or eternal life in heaven, since we are created into a holy people of God through the creation work of God, we can be the royal priesthood of God in heaven, reigning with God forever and ever.

    A New Creation

Apostle Paul teaches us that God is making us into a new creation that we may be holy just as God is holy.

Colossians 3:10 Now you are wearing a new life, a life that is new every day. You are growing in your understanding of the one who made you. You are becoming more and more like him. (ERV)

Ephesians 2:10 God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do. (ERV)

Through the creation work of God, we are made into a new creation resembling the image of God.

1 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

The Process of the New Creation

However, the process that we are created into the image of God is not easy. To make us into a new creation, God is working as workman. In this process, God puts us in a many different situations to test us and to shape us.

In the time of Moses, God set the Israel people free from the slavery of Egypt, and led them to the land of Canaan. Before allowing them the land as inheritance, first God tested them and shaped them as people of God by putting them into many different situations. Through this process they were made into a new creation worthy enough to be called the people of God.

Until they are completely made into the new creation, God was working over and over again, leading them through the desert.

Deuteronomy 8:2 Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

The New Creation Through the Words of God

Spiritually, it is the same. God put us into a spiritual desert. Sometimes, we are put into a plentiful circumstances, and other times a lacking ones. We go through many difficulties and sufferings in wealth, health, relationship, preaching, faith, etc. And God is searching our heart to know if we are depending on the words of God or not.

When we come to completely rely on the words of Go, obeying the commands of God, we can be the new creation and enter into the kingdom of heaven, our spiritual home Canaan.

    Refined Like Silver or Gold

Sometimes we are compared to silver or gold refined by God. We are like gold and the words of God is like fire. We are refined through the fire that is words of God (Jeremiah 5:14) that we may become pure like gold or silver.

Proverbs 17:3 The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart.

Isaiah 48:10 See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

    Made Into Pottery

Also we are compared to a lump of clay made into articles of a house for various purposes. When a potter make a jar with a lump of clay, he uses water to make it easy to shape the lump into various forms. Without water it is almost impossible to shape the lump into a desirable form.

It is the same with us who are the lump made by God. God is shaping us with the words of God, that is, water. (Ephesians 5:26) We can be made into a creation desirable for the purposes of God when we have the water that is the words of God in us.

    Conclusion

Ceaselessly, God is creating us into the image of God even now. When the creation work becomes complete and we are made holy just like God, then God will allow us to enter the heaven. Until the process is over, we diligently obey the commands of God, making effort to resemble God in every way.

  • The Bible and a New Name

The Bible and a New Name

The Wisdom for Salvation Through the Bible

The reason we study the bible is because we can have knowledge of salvation through the bible.

2 Timothy 3:14 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The bible clearly says that we can have wisdom for salvation through the Scriptures, that is, the bible. And it means we can be “thoroughly equipped” with all the knowledge about salvation through the bible, including the knowledge about the Savior.

    Jew’s Rejection of Jesus

2000 years ago, one of the reasons Jews rejected Jesus was due to his name, Jesus because the name itself is not recorded in the bible as the name of the Savior. To the Jews of the time the name of the Savior was God the Father Jehovah since the name Jehovah is testified all throughout the bible. And they accepted the name Jehovah since they accepted the Scriptures.

However, Jesus was not the name recorded in the Scripture as the name of the Savior. For this reason, they could not accept the teachings of Jesus Christ and ultimately rejected him even though he was the true savior.

The bible says that it contains all the wisdom and knowledge for the salvation. Then why did the Jews fail to recognize Jesus as their Savior even though there were many who had knowledge of the bible in those days? It is because the bible does not specify the name of the Savior directly. Then how can we have the knowledge and wisdom about the Savior through the bible?

    The Prophecies of the Bible

The answer is in the prophecies of the bible. Even though the bible does not record the name of the Savior directly, it gives the prophecies about the Savior. It tells about the time frames, the place, the signs about the Saviors so that we can have all the information about the Savior and match them with the one who fulfills all the prophecies. If the match is 100%, then we can be sure that he or she is the Savior even though their names are not in the bible.

Let us take a look at some of the prophecies about Jesus as examples:

    Prophecies of Jesus’ Birth

His birth is already prophesied in the bible.

Isaiah 7:14 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you[c] a sign: The virgin[d] will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

    Prophecies of Jesus’ Ministry

Also the bible prophesies about his ministry as below:

Isaiah 9:1 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan— 2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

    Prophecies about Jesus’ Sufferings

It also prophesies about his sufferings for the sins of his people.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

These are only some of the examples of the prophecies about Jesus Christ. The bible also foretold his death on the cross, his entering Jerusalem on a donkey, his work of establishing the new covenant, etc.

Even though his name was not recorded in the bible, through the fulfillment of the prophecies of the bible we can know Jesus was the Savior that appeared according to the prophecies of the bible.’

    Christ Testified in the Bible

John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me.

Second Coming Christ and a New Name

Then how about the Second Coming Christ? How can we have the knowledge and wisdom about the Second Coming Christ? It is also through the prophecies of the bible. And the bible testifies that he will appear to us with a new name.

Revelation 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

Revelation 2:17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

    New Name of Christ
What is the name of the Holy Spirit that would be written on a white stone?

Prophecies of the Bible and the New Name

According to the prophecies of the bible, Jesus already foretold that he would come for the second time. (Hebrews 9:28) And when he comes, he would come with a new name, which means he would appear with a different name. It means he is not come with the name Jesus anymore. Instead he comes with a name not known to anyone or anywhere in the prophecies of the bible.

Then if this is the case, how can we know the true Christ. The knowledge and wisdom is in the prophecies of the bible. Just like the first coming Christ, the Second Coming Christ is in the bible in the form of prophecies: his birth, the place of his coming, his work, the sign he brings. Everything is written in the bible.

    Conclusion

Today there are so many who are calling out, “Only Jesus”, which is not the will of God or Jesus Christ. Rather, if we have faith in Jesus, now we have to find out the new name of Jesus through the prophecies of the bible. Then we will be “thoroughly equipped” with all the knowledge and wisdom for our salvation.

  • Narrow Gate

    Narrow Gate

The Parable of the Narrow Gate

Matthew 7:13  “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

The bible teaches we have to follow the narrow gate for the life even though finding and following the road might hard and difficult and not many will be able to do so. However, it is easy to find and follow the wide and broad gate, which leads us to the destruction and most will follow the way.

    Jesus Christ, The Narrow Gate

What is it that God is teaching us through this parable? The answer is in finding the reality of the gate. What is the gate in the bible?

John 10:7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

While teaching about the true shepherd and the false ones, Jesus teaches that he himself is the gate, which leads to the good pasture. In this sense, we can see the meaning of the parable of the gate.

    Narrow Gate and Wide Gate

The Meaning of the Narrow Gate

The narrow gate means the true shepherd or the Savior that we have to meet for the salvation. And the wide and broad ones are those false prophets and false Christs who would come to mislead many to destruction.

Then why is it that Jesus compares himself to the narrow gate which is difficult to find? 2000 years ago when Jesus came to save the Jews, people could not recognize him as the Savior. Deceived by his physical appearance, people disregarded him and rejected him. He was a narrow gate to them hard to find.

John 1:9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

Jesus Coming As Man in the Flesh

They thought that God is Almighty and He cannot come as man in the flesh. God had to appear with all the glory and splendor of God that no one could deny the presence of God. However, unlike their expectation, Jesus hid all the glory of God in the flesh. People could see only a weak and vulnerable mortal man in Jesus.

They were so sure that he was not the Christ that they poured curses on their own heads and their children’s. And out of this conviction they could shout confidently that the blood of Jesus would be on them and on their children.

To them Jesus was the narrow gate, small and narrow, hard to find and even more difficult to follow to the end. Just as Isaiah said, Jesus was “a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” Only a few people could receive Jesus as the Christ and be saved.

Second Coming Christ Coming as the Narrow Gate

Prophecies about the Second Coming Christ

The bible testifies that the Christ will come again for the second time. (Hebrews 9:28) And many people believe that he would come with all the glory of God when he appears for the second time.

However, Jesus prophesied that he would come as the narrow gate in his second appearance. While prophesying about his appearance in the last days, he describes his coming like this:

Luke 18:26 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

If the Second Coming Christ should appear with all the power and glory of God, who would make God suffer and who would reject God? But Jesus said that the Christ would suffer and be rejected by the people of the time. What does this mean?

Second Coming Christ Coming as Man in the Flesh

The meaning of Jesus’ message is clear that he would come as man in the flesh for the second time, hiding all the power and glory of God in the flesh. When he comes, people would not recognize him even though he is the one whom they have waited for. They would reject him.

The only way we can recognize the Christ is through the prophecies of the bible. We should not look at his appearance, making the same mistake as the Jews 2000 years ago. We should have the spiritual eyes to see the spiritual glory of God hidden in the flesh.

    Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother

Christ Ahnsahnghong came to the earth for the second time for our salvation. Even though he is the second coming Christ prophesied in the bible, not many people know him and receive him. He is the narrow gate. It is the same with God the Mother. Even though she is testified in the bible, she is rejected by people. She is the narrow gate too.

Instead of looking at the fulfillment of the prophecies of the bible, people just focus on the physical appearance of Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem. And they shout that you are a mere man claim to be God. In the meanwhile, they pour down curses on their own head.

    Conclusion

We have to listen to the message in the bible. Peter said that the words of eternal life is in Jesus and since he had faith in those words of God in the bible, he could remain in Jesus to the end. We are small in number, but we were chosen to know the secrets of the bible and come to the narrow gate and we could recognize the glory of God, the salvation of souls granted through God Elohim, Father and Mother.

We should not be deceived by the physical appearance of Father and Mother, but we have to heed the fulfillment of the prophecies of the bible. Father and Mother appeared to us in the flesh for our salvation. They came and went through many pains and sufferings all because of us. To fulfill the prophecies of the bible, they, even though God, were rejected by most people since they were the narrow gate to them. Unlike most of them, we, even though small in number, must have faith in Father and Mother to the end.

  • Those who have “Understanding”

    Those who have “Understanding”

The bible teaches us that we should have understanding for our salvation. Then why is it important to have understanding?

    Knowing the Savior Through Understanding

The bible teaches that we can know our Savior when we have understanding, which means we cannot know who our Savior is without understanding.

1 John 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

According to this verse, we can know the reason why God gives us understanding. Through the understanding God gives us, we can know the Christ or the Savior and receive eternal life through him. This means that without the understanding we cannot know or recognize the Savior and receive salvation.

    How to Have Understanding

    Keep the Laws of God

Therefore, it is of uttermost importance to have understanding for our salvation. Then how can we have the understanding and recognize the second coming Christ?

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

Wisdom Through the Laws of God

To have good understanding the bible teaches us to follow the commands of God. When we keep the laws of God, we can have understanding and open our spiritual eyes and know the Christ who can save us.

Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

The writer of Psalm clearly states that the laws of God gives wisdom and opens our spiritual eyes that we can have understanding to know the Savior. Let us take the law of Sabbath for example.

    Law of Sabbath and Understanding

Why did God give his people the law of Sabbath? All the laws of God has God’s promise in it which God gave for our blessings. Then what is the blessings that we can receive by keeping the Sabbath day.

Exodus 31:12 Then the Lord said to Moses, 13 “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.

    Blessings Promised on Sabbath

God says that we can receive a lot of blessings through the Sabbath Day. On this day, we can take a rest and we can be made holy on this day. One of the blessings of keeping the Sabbath Day is that we can know God the Savior through the Sabbath Day.

Those Who Keep the Laws of God and Those Who Don’t

That is why Jesus Christ kept reminding us of the importance of keeping the laws of God by saying, “If you love me, keep my commands”. Apostle John also confirms this again.

1 John 2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

Only those who keep the command of God can come to know God. All those who do not keep the laws of God cannot know. If they say they could, they are lying. This is the conclusion God gives through the bible.

Laws of God and Traditions of Man

Then let us think about the situations of the Christians today. They do not keep the laws of God such as Sabbath and the Passover. Instead, they are keeping pagan traditions such as Sunday worship, Christmas, and Easter. And they say that they know the Christ and the Christ in them and they are in Christ. Can this be true? Definitely, not. Because God teaches that we should keep the laws of God to have wisdom to know the Christ.

Wisdom to Know the Second Coming Christ

The Bible teaches us that the Christ will come again for the second time for our salvation. (Hebrews 9:28) At that time, only those who keep the commands of God will have wisdom and spiritual eyes to know and recognize the second coming Christ. And they will be ones who can receive salvation.

The First Coming Christ and Those Who Rejected Him

2000 years ago, even though there were many who claimed to have faith in God and know God. However, when their Savior came to them in the name of Jesus, they did not recognize him and rejected him. They could not receive salvation. It was because they did not keep the laws of God, but the traditions of man. Because of the lawlessness, they did not have wisdom or understanding to correctly know the Savior.

Mark 7:6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ 8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”

The Result of Following Man’s Tradition

And Prophet Isaiah said that those who keeps the command of man cannot have wisdom and understanding to know God.

Isiah 29:11 For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” 12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.” 13 The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. 14 Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”

    Conclusion

Again and again, God teaches us that we can have wisdom and understanding to know God only through the laws of God. The laws of God opens our spiritual eyes and gives us wisdom to know God. Therefore, it is not too much to say that our salvation depends on the laws of God.

If we want to know the Spirit and the Bride in the last day who give the water of life and receive the living water from them, first we have to keep the laws of God such as baptism, Sabbath, Passover, etc. Then God will open our eyes and we will know and receive the Savior in the last days.

  • First Adam and Last Adam

    First Adam and Last Adam

    Christ Hidden in the Bible

Just as Jesus said in the Book of John (John 5:39), the bible is the book that testifies about the Christ. The bible teaches about the Christ who was to come in many ways. One of the way most commonly used in the bible to teach the Christ is to use the figures of the Old Testament such as Melchizedek, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, etc..

    Christ Coming as Adam

    First Coming Christ and Adam

One of the figures used to foreshadow the Christ is Adam. The bible teaches the first man Adam was created to signify the last Adam Christ who was to appear in the last days.

Romans 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.

Paul argues that Adam was created as “a pattern” or representation of “the one to come,” that is, Christ. (Revelation 22:20) 2ooo years ago Jesus fulfilled this prophecy by coming as man (or Adam, which means earth or dust in the Hebrew language) in the flesh. Adam, therefore, means a man in the flesh. To fulfill the prophecy of Adam, Jesus Christ who was God came as man in the flesh.

    Second Coming Christ and Adam

However, this prophecy of Adam was to be fulfilled by the Christ who is coming in the last days since the Book of Revelation concerns about what is going to happen in the last days. In this sense, Adam was given to us to let us know about the second coming Christ who was to appear in the flesh in the last days.

We can confirm this through the creation work of God in the Book of Genesis. In the creation work of God, Adam was created on the sixth day, which was the last day of God’s creation work. The bible teaches that this Six-Day Creation actually represents the Six-Thousand-Year Salvation Work of God.

2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

This means that the six-day creation signifies the six-thousand-year salvation work of God. The creation of Adam on the sixth day foreshadows the coming of the Second Coming Christ who was to appear as man in the flesh at the end of the six-thousand-year salvation work.

    The Purpose of Christ’s Coming

And the bible also teaches us about the purpose of his coming as Adam in the last days.

1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

He is coming to give us “life” that is, eternal life. To give us salvation, he must come again as man in the flesh.

Hebrews 9:28  so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

When he comes, he must bring “life” to us. 2000 years ago, Jesus who came as spiritual Adam also brought life to the world through the bread of life (John 6:35), that is, his flesh and blood of the Passover. And he testified about himself that He is the life. (John 11:25) Likewise, when he comes in the last days, he is coming as “life-giving spirit,” which means he must give us life, the Passover, the bread of life.

    The Reality of Life, Eve

    Creation of Adam and Eve

Jesus, who was Adam, gave his flesh and blood as life that the world could have eternal life. However, there is a deeper secret in this prophecy of Jesus coming as Adam. In Genesis, God created Adam with the dust of the ground and with his flesh and bone (or blood since the marrow in the bone produces blood) God created Eve, which literally means “life”. (Genesis 3:20) Through this creation work of God, God teaches us the reality of “life” of Adam (or Christ) is Eve, the last secret and creation of God.

According to the prophecy, at the end of the six-thousand-year salvation work, God would appear as Adam and he will reveal Eve, his flesh and blood. Just as the first man Adam testified and revealed the first Eve as his flesh and blood (Genesis 2:23), the last Adam will reveal the last Eve, the reality of his flesh and blood of the Passover.

Life Through God the Mother, the Last Eve

And the bible testifies about the last Adam and the last Eve as the Spirit and the bride who gives life through living water to the world.

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

According to the prophecy, the Spirit is the last Adam, the Second Coming Christ. Then who is the bride, the wife of the Second Coming Christ (or the last Adam)? She is the last Eve, the Mother of all the living, who is the reality of the flesh and blood of Christ. (Genesis 3:20)

    Conclusion

Now the time of the fulfillment of the prophecies of the bible has come. And the last Adam and Eve, the Spirit and the bride has come and calling us to come for the water of life. Those who has faith in God and the words of God in the bible must listen to the voice of God and come to the Spirit and the bride, God the Father and God the Mother. Even though they are God, they left the glory of heaven and came down to this earth in the human form. They hid their glory in the flesh and came as the last Adam and Eve to give us life.

Let us receive them and they will give us the free gift of the water of life. Thanks to Father Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem for the great love and sacrifice for us sinners.

  • Who Can Know God?

    Who Can Know God?

    Let Us Know God

The bible teaches that the most important thing in life is to know God. And Prophet Hosea says:

Hosea 6:3 Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

Hosea says that we have to make every effort to know God. God is the uttermost priority for our salvation. Then how can we know God?

    Those Who Rejected Jesus

Today there are so many who claim to know God. However, how can we be sure about God? 2000 years ago, the religious leaders such as Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribers claimed that they know God and the words of God. Jesus, God who came as man in the flesh, appeared to them to save them. If they knew God and the bible, they should have received Jesus with a joyful and thankful mind, shouting “Hosanna” for the grace of God coming down to this earth as man in the flesh to save them. Rather, they rejected him and ridiculed him, and crucified him, resulting in their destruction.

They could not receive their Savior because of two reasons. First, they did not know God even though they thought they knew. And second, they did not know the bible even though their authority came from the knowledge of the bible.

    Who Can Know God?

It is the same with us today. There are so many religious leaders, such as ministers, pasters, bible scholars, etc. who claim to know God and the bible. However, in fact, they do not know God, neither do they know the bible. Their knowledge of the bible does not come from God or the bible, but from their own traditions. For this reason they misinterpret the bible, causing many people to go astray from God.

Those Who Are Under the New Covenant

Then who can know God? How can we have true knowledge of God? We have to find answer for these question from the bible. The bible teaches that those who keep the new covenant can know God.

Jeremiah 31:31 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to[d] them,” declares the Lord. 33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

God teaches that only those who keep the new covenant can know God and they can be the people of God. And God says that He will forgive their sins.

Those Who Cleansed Of Their Sins Through The Blood of Christ

Also, Paul teaches only those who are cleansed with the blood of Christ can have wisdom to know God.

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ.

Only those who are purified with the blood of Christ can have wisdom and understanding to know the mystery of God. And the mystery of God is Christ.

Colossians 2:2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Through this we can understand that only those who washed their sins through the blood of Christ can have knowledge enough to know God.

    The New Covenant Passover

Then what is the new covenant? And what is the blood of Christ that cleanse us of our sins? The answer is in the Passover. On the night of the Passover, while eating the supper, Jesus established the new covenant through his blood. (Luke 22:20) And he promised the forgiveness of sins to those who kept the Passover. (Matthew 26:28) Therefore, we can see through the bible that only those who keep the Passover can know God. When they keep the Passover, they are under the new covenant of God established through Jesus and also they can be cleansed of their sins and know God according to the promise of Jesus who is God.

    Conclusion

In short, to know God we have to keep the new covenant according to the teachings of God in the bible. However, today how many people know the Passover, not to mention of keeping the Passover? Then without keeping the Passover, how can they say that they know God? The knowledge they have of God is not from the bible, but from their own traditions or their own thoughts. Like the teachers of law in the time of Jesus, the religious leaders of today have wrong knowledge of God and mislead many to the falsehood. Let us press on to know God by keeping the new covenant. Then God will give us wisdom and understand to know Him.

  • Remember the LORD Your God

    Remember the LORD Your God

    The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar

There is a story of King Nebuchadnezzar in the Book of Daniel. According to one prophecy of Daniel the Kingdom of Babylon is described as gold and also in another prophecy as a lion with an eagle’s wings. All these images were used to represent the glory and the power of the kingdom. And the bible actually says that God allowed great glory and power to the Kingdom of Babylon.

Daniel 2:37 Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory; 38 in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.

King Nebuchadnezzar-the king of kings chosen by God, after conquering all the nations, became proud and said that it was he himself who accomplished all the great things for the kingdom.

Daniel 4:28 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”

Due to his pride and arrogance he was punished by God to be like one of livestock grazing on the field and lived like one for seven years. When he acknowledged God for the great works he had done, his sanity got restored and could receive his kingdom back.

King Nebuchadnezzar painted by William Blake

    Lesson From the Story

This story of King Nebuchadnezzar teaches us many things. Especially, we can learn the importance of humility and realization that everything comes from God. We have to remember that it is only God who allows to us whatever good thing we might have.

Deuteronomy 8:17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Sometimes when we achieve something, people might think that he or she has done the work with his wisdom and knowledge. But we have to know better than that. We have to remember that there is God who achieves the great plan he made through us. We are just His messengers and tools.

    Get Rid Of Arrogance

We all are tools and instruments used by God to do the work of God.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

And without God we are nothing. Only in and through God we can live our life. When he gave all the glory and honor to God, King Nebuchadnezzar could have his right mind and freed from the madness caused by his arrogance. We also should look into us to find out whether or not we are enslaved by our pride and arrogance. Then we have to remember that everything comes from God and make ourselves humble in front of God.
