The bible testifies that the Christ would come again for our salvation. The first coming Christ came and he sacrificed himself on the cross by taking up our sins. The bible, however, says that he comes for the second time, not for the sins but for our salvation.
Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Just as John the Baptist said Jesus came and took up our sins so that we can receive the forgiveness of sins. Paul says that Christ would come for the second time to bring salvation. This means God’s plan of salvation cannot be made complete without Christ’s coming for the second time. He must come again and he must bring salvation to the people when he comes second time in the last day.
Then when he comes, in what way would he bring salvation? In the Book of Isaiah, the bible teaches us about the salvation Christ brings in the last days.
Isaiah 25:6 On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines. 7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. 9 In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”
Prophet Isaiah also prophesies about the salvation in the last days. In this prophecy, God destroys the power of death forever, which means he brings eternal life, the salvation God promised to the mortal man. Then how does he brings the salvation? The bible says that God destroys the power of death through the aged wine.
The feast that would be held in the mountain of God, Zion, is the festival of God. Then what is the festival of God that has the power of destroying the death and bringing eternal life? It is the Passover. The Passover is the only festival of God kept with wine. But then why is it called “aged wine” instead of just wine.
This signifies that the Passover which is going to be held in the last days. If we look at the history of the Passover. Jesus and his disciples kept the Passover as the last supper just before his death. And Jesus disciples also continued to keep the Passover to commemorate Jesus’ death for our sins.
1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
Then why are there no church today which keeps the Passover? It is because it was abolished by the work of Satan. In 325 AD in the council of Nicaea, they abolished the Passover with the authority of Emperor Constantine. Since then nobody kept the Passover until 1948 when the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong came to restore the Passover. For about 1600 years, the wine of the Passover was kept hidden from the knowledge of human being.
Therefore, the bible testifies the wine of the Passover in the last days as “aged wine”, which truly makes sense since it has been kept hidden for 1600 years. To fulfill the prophecies of the bible the Second Coming Christ came for our salvation and restored the Passover, the truth of life hidden for a long time. We should keep the Passover and preach the Passover of the new covenant to the whole world so that all people may know the salvation that the Second Coming Christ has brought to us according to the prophecies of the bible.
