The Passover contains many promises of God. And one of the Promise in the Passover is the freedom from the slavery. As the Israel people could be set free from the Egyptian slavery through the Passover, the bible teaches that we as God’s people can be set free from the slavery of sin and death through the Passover. Therefore, the Passover is the truth that gives us freedom that Jesus wanted to teach us through his sacrifice.
